  1. I had it on Chrome and Edge today on a Windows 11 laptop. Tried clearing the cache, it was still a problem. Chrome on Android tablet, trouble, then a little later no problems.

    Chapter 20

You've managed to piss off the Welsh, that's in Wales not England.🙂

    Chapter 54

“It’ll have to be insulated otherwise the liquid will evaporate and depending on the construction of the tank, a high pressure may develop.” Technically, it's already under high pressure, CO2 can't be liquid unless it's kept at greater than 5 atmospheres. Sorry, being pedantic🙂 A CO2 system also needs to warn people to leave before it activates, it'll asphyxiate them at lower a concentration than is needed to put out a fire. Using it in a club could be dangerous, if they don't hear the warning due to loud music. https://blog.koorsen.com/what-is-a-co2-fire-suppression-system-and-how-does-it-work
  4. It's also on tedlouis dot com. I don't know if anything happened to the author but the story just stops without endi

    Chapter 42

I think autocorrect struck a couple of time. Clock room (cloakroom , unless that really is a room of or for clocks,🤔), and assistance manager rather than assistant manager.

    Chapter 39

2 small rest rooms in a busy club with a bar? I foresee long queues of frustrated people. 🙂

    Chapter 36

I think that's more 1700s,1800s western Europe , most Romans bathed a lot. Some Romans thought it unhealthy, not the practise, but the fact that the water wasn't changed enough. Apparently medieval people bathed.
  8. Okay, I was wrong.🙂

Late coming to the story. Why do I suspect Alex could be a match?

No, it's at the edge of the ruins. https://www.chichenitza.com/maps . I remembered that swimming wasn't allowed, which threw me when then went swimming. It's the first one that came up on Google when I searched for a cenote in chichen itza.

It seems there are two Cenote Sagrado, the one in the ruins you can't swim in. https://cenotesmexico.org/cenote-sagrado/ , for a start you'd need ropes to escape. The other one https://www.eyeflare.com/article/cenote-sagrado-de-chichen-itza/ is nearby (how to confuse people). I was there about 20 years ago, 2 weeks later the roof collapsed, killing swimmers below. Got to climb the pyramid as well.

can't find an edit , 2000 cubic feet per minute

    Chapter 31

holds more than 2.8 cubic feet of water. Technically true , but so does my bath🙂. I can't find a figure for the volume, only the volume per day (which gives a figure of a little under 2000 cubic feet per second). Marcello Mastroianni starred in La Dolce Vita, Fellini directed it.

    Chapter 30

No, the Tomb of the Unknown soldier is in memory of World War I, 1918-1921. When? Is this set in a parallel universe with different dates, and if so, what caused that war? Was it the ostrich (Brits will probably get that, Americans , probably not)?

You can't have a high dungeon, they have to be underground so they're cold, dark and damp, preferably with rats.🙂 Autocorrect strikes again? Dudgeon.

He sounds eminently qualified to be in charge of press releases/public information/PR etc. in CJ's run for office.

    Chapter 3

As the story description says they take in 2 children in need, I suspect so.

    Chapter 2

Surely the minister complimented the family.
  19. I hope his card company is Lucan owned. The fraud algorithm will be getting suspicious if he keeps buying stuff all over the world faster than anyone could fly between locations.

    Brad and Frankenstein, surely Frank-N-Furter?

They must have been a well off family. Showers were rare in private homes in the UK, a lot (maybe even the majority) of homes didn't have an inside toilet or bathroom. Working class families - tin bath , middle class ,if in metroland (suburbia), probably had a fixed bath.

Doesn't seem like witness protection, more like a renaming of a child convicted of a serious crime, a bit like John Venables/ Robert Thompson (2 10 year old boys who abducted and killed a 2 year old boy).

    Chapter 9

You said earlier to mention any errors. Morels… MORELS? Brandon. Spell-check probably wouldn't pick it up because it is a word, morel is a type of mushroom.

    Chapter 54

    Autocorrect strikes again? Daventry's a peon.🙂
