I'll drink to that 😁😁😁 I have scotch, bourbon, or wine atm ..... I might have tequila and amaretto tucked in the back.

Like my grandma always said "patience is a virtue, and I want it now darn it" 😝😝😝
-
Well that makes for an interesting conundrum. Now I'm curious about what kind of lore Uther is going to dig up. I'll definitely put my vote on a second puberty at least. I couldn't see anything else causing that kind of angst
-
I feel safe going with that. The name my grans used was Doblinashkira, I understand to loosely mean fake skin. I could easily see the terms for shape shifter and skinwalker getting crisscross or mixed together after they came to the states. Especially moving between 3 languages to English.
-
Yeah, according to what my grandma and great grandma told me tails off, it was skin walkers and werewolves that caused the trips to split, one crossed the land bridge and followed the good skinwalkers to north America. The white man arriving caused most of them to turn evil. The other half followed the werewolves into what is now Lithuania, where they eventually got corrupted by the Mongol invasion. End of the point though, while I personally believe they are the same creature, I am not gonna stand 100% on that, especially when my Grans could have been influenced by other tales. But they were always proud that our families female line was unbroken to the Black Sea Tribes that birthed the shape shifters.

Hey, as long as it's a good story and there is room for me to snark off in the comments, I'm game. 😁😁😁😁 no dog house ..... this time 😝😝😝

I would go by what you've studied personally. All my information from my grandma comes from the Black Sea area first, and then some info from Native American sources. So for all intents and purposes, my info could possibly be a blend of 2 different supernatural creatures that happened to have similar names after translations.

That's the whole reason I stick to writing poetry, short stories, and plays, lol. I can never stay in 1st or 3rd, and I can never stay in past/present/future tense.

Ouch, you just broke my brain 😭😭😭😭 now I have to go dig through my grandma's books. The lore I was taught growing up, the evil skinwalkers breeding with animals was what created lycanthropes (well except werewolves, but that's a whole 60 page story I don't want to get into). I so need to do extra research now. I don't remember if the tails said anything about the grandchildren of dark skinwalkers, just that they were either sterile or only female offspring.

End of the day so many warm fuzzies 😭😭😭😭😭 *tries to find anti-warmfuzzy spray* I'm still in aww at how much dialog you use. It's like I'm reading a play script but better. In my opinion the most impressive, with how much dialog you use, is that I have yet to stumble across a point where the conversation doesn't seem natural. I honestly wonder if this is the feeling some artists try for, or if I'm on odd duck. Since starting this story I've never felt like I've been watching this in 3rd or 1st person. Since the first paragraph I've felt like I'm sitting on the edge of one of those squishy fold you up in it if you sit wrong theater chairs, watching one of the most amazing stage shows. If you're not careful, someone might come at you with a deal for indi-film rights.

Well of course, what kind of devious evil snark of a bi*** would I be if I didn't? Besides, if you guys give me enough ammunition, I might be able to beat someone's record and pass being first 3 in a row 😝😝😝😝😝

I feel your pain with the run around from the health care. On the plus side, never doubt the power of green tea mixed with hibiscus petals. That mix is great at helping with inflammation with out hitting the liver or kidney. Only draw back is it's really mild, so only takes the edge off. And no included pain relief with it. *giant hugs* at least you're still gorgeous Lmfao, 1st on 3, lmfao
-
I hope things get better soon. And when in doubt, stalk us and poke the bear. Nothing can go wrong when mixing sticks and bears ........ i wonder if that's why my husband got me a shirt that says "go outside, worse case scenario a bear eats you" ....
-
I blame you, I was gonna blame @weinerdog, but then I didn't wanna lose my other shoe. Admit it, you've missed us 😝😝😝😝😝 it was all dull and boring until we dragged you into this 😝😝😝
-
That better not be a hint of sanity, don't make me go cry in the corner 😭😭😭😭😭😭
-
I am not crazy, I'm legally insane. There is a difference ... I think?
-
At least your dog house is safe. I redid the sound proofing and threw in a case of left shoes and slippers. Oh, and I fixed your water bowl so it's a never ending wine bowl now. 😁😁😁😁
-
OK, you convinced me, lol
-
Shoot, I'll be the first on underfire from @kbois, I didn't mention her first first ..... granted I did threaten her with shag carpet in her dog house .....
-
You have no idea how tempted I was to go back and edit that with a number 1, lol
-
WOOT 1st on 2nd ... 😝😝😝😝😝 @kbois @weinerdog @Mrsgnomie 😝😝😝 ..... they made me do it? 😝😝😝 Holy heart strings and roller-coasters. I'm glad I found this story, but now I'm worried I'm gonna end up with a heart attack, whiplash, or an aneurism. I'll the comments I've read of yours you come off like such a sweet person, I never realized you were such an aggressive evil artist. Now that I'm caught up i can't wait for the rest of the story. Just remember though, you keep pulling my heart strings and you're getting a dog house right between Gnomie and Weiner. Hot dang do you make reading intense and exhausting.

Holy wow of an introduction. All I know at the moment is I would never want to be inside the head of a vampire. They seem to have contingency plans for any random thing you can throw at them. That kind of thinking would explode my poor little Polish brain. Granted that would bring a new definition to airhead. Then again it is fun to try to keep up with everything you pack into a chapter. Your writing will definitely never be described as boring or dull.

Well this has been a wonderful roller-coaster of a woven tale. I'm definitely wondering how long before the deer and the dragon confront each other. I'll try to keep my nails in tact while waiting for the next chapter. Going back and forth between the points of view is seriously well done. They way you have it going I feel like I'm one step ahead of the characters, but two steps behind at the same time. I totally gotta keep up with this story now that I found it ❤️❤️❤️
-
By jove, I think that is. Now I can go back through the comments on I don't know which story of @kbois and let everyone know we finally have evidence it was @weinerdog that got my shoe ...... 😭😭😭😭😭 ..... does anyone remember which comment thread that one happened on? Dang nab getting old and suffering from CRS 😭😭😭
