    Update: heard back from the doctor. He said it's not an obstruction; it's most likely food poisoning or something viral.

    The CT scan was surprisingly quick. There was a line of patients ahead of me, apparently, and that's why I was waiting so long. Just waiting to hear back from the doctor with a diagnosis.

    Update: got admitted to the ER. Got a room at 10:30. Doctors drew some blood for lab work. Also added an IV for contrast dye to do a CT scan, so they can determine if there's a blockage. Just waiting my turn to use the CT sanner.

    My abdomen is feeling hard; haven't had a decent bowel movement since 2:30 pm, and on a scale of 1 - 10, the pain is currently at a 7.

    Went to the ER with a possible bowel obstruction. Oh joy.

    What sort of base do you have for your tree. We have one that can hold water, so the tree stays green until it's no longer needed.

    Hey, Nick! I know you probably don't celebrate the holiday, but Happy Thanksgiving anyways! I'm thankful for my husband and our two wonderful boys. Morgan, Colton and Max have been the greatest joy in my life, and I'm blessed to have them. I'm also thankful for this website. Not only the colorful stories, but the amazing friends I've made here over the years. I know we can bicker and tease each other sometimes, but we always pull together when things get tough. For that, I thank you, everyone.

    @Albert1434 We didn't have anything planned with Brie, but I noticed that the supermarket was sold out of the stuff. Guess it's pretty popular for an appetizer.
