    A 600-meter bicycle path in the Netherlands, designed by artist and innovator Daan Roosegaarde. The path is embedded with stones covered in a UV-sensitive coating. The stones absorb sunlight by day, and release photoluminescent energy at night. The patterns are modeled after Van Gogh's "Starry Night".

    We had cumin lamb kebabs with mint-yogurt sauce for dinner. For sides: Jeweled rice pilaf Honey-Harissa roasted carrots Grilled Halloumi-watermelon salad For dessert, grilled peaches with honey and mascarpone. Obviously, the peaches are out-of-season, so grilling them helped liven their flavor. This has been a few weeks in the making. It was Max's idea; Morgan and I simply helped execute it.

    This is probably gonna sound boring, but if someone said to me, "Dude, you're staring." I'd just give myself a mental shake and say, "Oh. Uhhh, sorry. Just... lost in my thoughts." At thirteen years old, I used to visit a roadside store that sold ice cream. More than once, the kid scooping ice cream behind the counter would wave his hand to get my attention, because I was just... staring at how pretty he was. I didn't know it at the time, but that kid later grew up to be my husband. We only met that one summer, then reunited by chance, in 2016.
