  1. Welp, change of plans. The weather forecast shows that the temperature will be 73/23 at 10:00 tonight. It's just too hot outside for a bonfire.
  2. Likewise, but Morgan and I are hoping it will cool off closer to sunset, and then we can have a bonfire.
  3. I knew which Gavin you meant. This is an excellent movie for summertime! I just love it! And it's also available on Netflix, if you haven't seen it yet.
  4. I'm doing well, but still on furlough for now. Looking forward to the day I can go back to work. On Saturday, we're having Dr. Pepper Carne Asada tacos, with Mexican "Street Corn" salad, and Agua Fresca. For dessert: ice cream sandwiches made with peanut butter rice krispies.
  5. @Comicality Gavin Casalegno wishes you a wonderful summer from Montana. I told him, "I wanna see you in the next Hallmark movie!"
  6. Saw an episode of Bizarre Foods: Delicious Destinations last night. Location: Novia Scotia. Looks like a lovely place to visit.
  7. Hey, Gary. I hope you get better soon.
  8. Sounds like good work, washing the windows.
  9. It's delicious and refreshing.
  10. Yup. Watermelon-Hibiscus black tea with mint.
  11. Aaawwwww, I really hope there's more to this story!
  12. Hey, Buckie. Any tea brewing in the kettle?
  13. Hey, Bertie. How are you and Steve?
  14. SPAM and Eggs over Rice Ingredients: 4 Cups of rice 1/4 Cup of soy sauce 2 Tbsp rice vinegar 1 Tbsp sugar 1 Tbsp fish sauce 1 can of SPAM 8 Eggs Cooking Spray Salt and Pepper Chives or green onions, finely sliced (optional) Preparation: 1. Cook rice according to package directions. 2. While the rice is cooking, combine soy sauce, fish sauce, sugar, and rice vinegar to form a marinade. 3. Cut the SPAM into 1/2 inch cubes and add to the marinade. 4. With 10 minutes' time remaining on the rice, whisk the eggs in a bowl with salt and pepper. 5. Coat a non-stick skillet with cooking spray and scramble the eggs on Medium-High heat. Remove from the skillet when the eggs are fully cooked. 6. Using a slotted spoon, remove the SPAM from the marinade and saute in the same skillet until all sides are browned and crispy. 7. Scoop the rice onto plates or in bowls. Top with SPAM and scrambled eggs. Use green onions or chives for garnish, if desired.
  15. Hey, Cassie. How are you?
  16. The weather is pleasantly warm this evening, and people are finally able to go to the beach again. The West Bay Marina parking lot was full, and there were quite a few yachts on the water. This afternoon, Morgan and I went to the beach, observing a six-foot distance from the others. We saw the same young couple from the Cherry Festival last year.
  17. When he said "washing up liquid", that didn't sound legit. It sounded like something he pulled out of his arse just to be a bastard. If I were living in England, I'd probably try to adapt and use their terms for things. But if Clyde McTeabaggers is living in 'Murica, he's got a lot to learn.
