  1. Two Netflix stars are dating each other! https://www.pinknews.co.uk/2020/02/17/locke-key-connor-jessup-miles-heizer-dating-relationship-13-reasons-why/
  2. Starting today, the drive-thru book return at the local library is open again, but curbside pickup for borrowing materials won't start until next Monday.
  3. Congrats, Marty! Hey, Dugh, Mum, and Thistle. *scratches Thistle on his belly*
  4. *pours Bucket a cuppa*
  5. @Bucket1 Hey, Tea Bat. I have some strawberry-mint tea, if you'd like a cup.
  6. Hey, Marty! My first planting of radishes should be ready in a week, and I have some leeks coming in, too. I thought I might saute some leeks and add them to a pizza with bacon and sliced potatoes. I'm looking forward to some beets, carrots, and tomatoes later in the season. Basil, oregano, mint, chives, and sage are all doing magnificent.
  7. I've seen more teens and kids at our local Pride in recent years.
  8. Those plants are so large, a young child could sit on one, like a raft.
  9. Hey, Dugh, Mum, and Thistle. *scratches Thistle behind the ears*
  10. It's lovely, Marty.
  11. Change of plans for Mickey and his friends. Campgrounds will be opening up soon, so they may not be living so "rough", after all.
  12. Hey, Albert. Hey, Marty.
  13. Many locations in the Lord of the Rings were filmed in New Zealand. The area surrounding Mount Ruapehu has lots of volcanoes, so it became the inspiration for Mount Doom.
  14. New show on Hulu, called Love, Victor. A series spinoff of the movie Love, Simon. Freshman Victor struggles with feelings for both male and female classmates at Creekwood High School. Who can he turn to for advice? Maybe Simon Spier, now a Senior, can offer him guidance. It's not available to watch yet, but it premieres on the 19th.
  15. Hey, Leo! Things are good here. How are you?
  16. From cookies and ramen....to a premade, frozen pizza....such a lateral move. Incidentally, I have a package of Nutter Butters in the kitchen. This was a good story, and realistic in the way that "we shagged for a while, but then he got a girlfriend". I think lots of straight boys have "bi-curious" experiences, and this was a good example of that. Although, if I had one bone to pick: Why a blizzard? It's JUNE already! It's time for some sand, surf, and suntan oil dripping into the crevices of appallingly tight swimsuits! I tease, of course. Thank you for your hard work, Comsie.
  17. The restrictions have lifted somewhat, though large groups still aren't encouraged. Mickey and Remy talked about a camping trip with Sean and Rory, sometime later this month. They'll be "living rough"; no campground, so hopefully they won't meet too many people.
  18. I went to Washington, D.C. with my family when I was about 10 or 11. I don't remember much of it, because the heat and the humidity made me fall asleep on the trolley tour that we took. We also stopped in Richmond, Virginia to visit my grandma's cousin and her family. There was a public pool in their neighborhood. The people were packed like sardines in a can, and the water was as warm as the Queen's tea.
  19. Hey, Drewbear! It's hot here in Michigan, too, but only about 77*F. Yesterday, it was 81*F.
