    Most of the webpages I've viewed are suggesting white or apple cider vinegar. The method relies on the acidity of vinegar to restore the skin's natural pH level. Balsamic vinegar is markedly different from other vinegars, because it has a lot of natural sugar from the grape must, and so, it has less acidity. You're welcome to try it, but it might not be as effective.

    No. Those are hella-expensive, and they take up too much room, besides. We do have an electric fondue pot, though.

    Yup, we had fondue for dinner on Saturday. Smoked sausage, potatoes, pickles, broccoli, apples, and bread cubes for dipping. The fondue itself was Cheddar, Parmesan, and Gouda with apple cider.

    We're all doing well, thanks. The weather was cool, but sunny. Using some of the leftover fondue sauce to make mac and cheese for dinner. We're also going to add some broccoli and seared Kielbasa to the casserole.
