  1. I wish! But no, we only upcharge when someone orders "extra" of something.
  2. Someone once ordered a salad that was mixed greens with bacon, sausage, and Prosciutto, dressed with Ranch. We couldn't do the sausage, because it would need to be warmed in the pizza oven first, and the pizza crew had too many orders to accommodate.
  3. An order that I prepared a few weeks ago: A customer wanted a Ceasar salad with 1. Balsamic dressing in place of Ceasar dressing 2. No croutons 3. No cheese 4. No lemon wedge So, basically: A pile of wet lettuce on a plate.
  4. We're doing well, thanks. I made Croque Monsieur for dinner, and then we went shopping for groceries.
  5. Hey, Drew! How are things in the Imperial household?
  6. Ugh! Why does Australia have so many cute boys? Seriously, it's so NOT fair!
  7. Hey, Rick! *waves* It's been a while since we've talked, but I'm still around.
  8. When I was still living with my parents, some friends of theirs had a party where everyone brought their own dishes. Every dish at the party had cheese or chocolate in some form.
  9. When my husband and I first adopted Max, we took him out to a local place that served French-style breakfast/brunch. He ordered escargot, much to my horror! UGH!! I mean, I'm glad that he was willing to be adventurous, but why did it have to be SNAILS?! Apart from that, Max usually likes an egg salad sandwich or some kind of chicken wrap for his lunch. Once in a while, he'll surprise me with a request for something new, which will often be added to my recipe binder. He rarely indulges his sweet tooth, except as a reward after a hard afternoon of ballet training, or for a special occasion.
  10. I should do the same for my snickerdoodle bars. Cinnamon-sugar between two layers of cookie dough, with more cinnamon-sugar on top. My son, Max, doesn't eat too many sweets because of his training as a dancer, but he loves snickerdoodles.
  11. Tartiflette! Yum! For a brief moment, I was picturing a raclette with potatoes, ham, pickles, etc. I mean, reblochon and raclette are very similar in appearance and the dishes they're served with. 🤷‍♂️
  12. Dip a baguette into it, and call it dinner.
  13. Hey, Dugh and Mum!
  14. It doesn't describe you, either.
  15. Work on Monday. Laundry and grocery shopping on Tuesday. Work again on Thursday and Friday. Might take my kid to see a movie on Saturday.
  16. I'm sure Clochette would love to be Best Maid at the wedding of her Wonder Twin, Drew.
  17. Seriously, guys. Just rent a hotel room already.
  18. Max is back home from his SI program today, and I made a blueberry-buttermilk crumb cake for after dinner.
  19. Hey, Terry! How are you and Aod?
  20. Except the pole that measures your height.
  21. A new song from Benicio!
  22. *raises hand* Hey, Dugh and Mum! Glad to hear you're feeling better.
  23. Awww. Javon Walton is so shy and sweet, but he's also a BEAST in training sessions!
