    Got an invitation to my friend, Jessie's house, for brunch this weekend. His dad, unfortunately, passed away during Covid. (His health was already declining, and he was placed in quarantine at the hospital as a precaution.) After Jesse's dad died, his mom transferred the ranch to Jessie's name. Now he and his younger brother run it together. Max enjoys spending time with the horses, and Jessie's mom is an excellent cook. Should be a good time.

    @raven1 A Series of Unfortunate Events, dark as it is, has some excellent dry humor. Not to mention the absurdist behavior of the adults. There are two adaptations: A film featuring Jim Carrey, and a Netflix series starring Neil Patrick Harris. Guess which version is better?

    Technically not their first time, but it is their first time using the back door.... Sorry. 😆 Anyway, I'm interested to see what happens in the next chapter. It can't all be sunshine and daisies, now. Something has to throw a wrench in the machine, or I may start to get bored. (Just kidding. Comsie's stories are NEVER boring!)

    @Drew Espinosa @spike382 Currently, I'm revisiting a BL manga called I Hear the Sunspot, by Yuki Fumino. Taichi, a neurotypical guy who was recently fired from his part-time job, meets Kohei, a college student who struggles in his classes due to a partial hearing loss. They enter an odd partnership: Taichi will help Kohei take notes for his studies, and Kohei will provide Taichi with food to prevent him from starving. But soon, their awkward friendship starts growing into something more serious....
