    Chapter 6

Amazing and so soul satisfying. What a treat! Chris was such an emotionally selfish dick, but I agree it was important for Eli to suffer through it so he could truly appreciate the difference in Devon. Eli's "favorite mistake" resonates with me as my life followed a similar path; I still refer to my "Chris" as a great "learning experience" that allowed me to appreciate my husband all the more.

    Perfect Can't Endure

I agree with Remijay. I just recently discovered these two stories, and have fallen in love with these adorable characters. I think all of your readers would love to see the story concluded (with a happy ending, hint, hint). Your talent has created a hunger in your readers for more.

Another great chapter as always, Carlos. I'm so enjoying the progression of this story and the increasing closeness between CJ, Ritchie, and Ozzie. The mention of Nasty Pig undergear made me smile; I've bought a few of their things for my husband over the years (at Mr. S Leather in San Francisco).

    Epilogue

What a gem this story has turned out to be! Your eloquent expression of the inner workings of an autistic mind is masterful, and the love and devotion between Samuel and Babe felt genuine and pure - in spite of the unconventional nature of their relationship. The level of eroticism you included was just enough to make their relationship real and intimately beautiful. I'm not in the habit of gushing in a story review, but this just blew me away. Bravo!
  5. I know I'm a bit late to the party - having just discovered this story, but I loved this sweet, romantic tale of change, forgiveness, redemption, and ultimately love. It was so touching, I can even (almost) overlook the use of "Frisco" as the nickname for San Francisco. ;-) To a Bay Area local or native, that word is the linguistic equivalent of fingernails scraping a chalkboard combined with the screams of a tortured cat. If you were trying to portray the younger Justice as a Redding yokel, then it worked! But I digress. I thoroughly enjoyed this. Excellent job!

    January 2015

Yeah, couldn't wait to read this chapter - even though it's a bit before 2 AM on Friday in California. Although I expected this outcome, seeing it was a sucker punch to the gut. I feel terrible for Ritchie, in spite of his parents' douchebaggery. (Is that a word?). He's lucky to have such a loving brother and extended family. Hopefully, this will narrow or even erase the geographical distance between CJ and Ritchie. I admit that the lawyer in me wondered who the parents actually named as guardians in their wills, and if there are contingent guardians or other family of Lourdes' husband who would interfere with Ritchie's and CJ's reunion. Time for bed before more "what ifs" pop into my head. Excellent chapter, Carlitos.

    December 2014

Great chapter, mano! I especially liked that CJ wanted to take his and Owen's relationship to the next level of intimacy by getting tested and going bare as a send off for Owen's trip home. And then there is the cliffhanger. Actually, as cliffhangers go, it's only a seven-day hanging -which isn't so bad. Besides, you give us a couple of broad clues just before and after the note : (1) you made of point of highlighting the affectionate relationship between César and Ritchie: "César looked down at the boy and ruffled his hair with affection." It's placement in the scene and the fact that you don't waste sentences make me think it's an important foreshadowing - maybe of a necessarily closer future relationship. (2) When César read the note, "[h]is eyes shot open when he looked at it and quickly glanced at Ritchie before handing the note to Brett." Unless you're trying to throw us off track, you sneaky malcriado , the somber news most directly affects Ritchie. If something had happened to the grandparents, CJ would have been included in César's concern and he wouldn't have just handed him the note to read ... which leads me to conclude that something has happened to one or both of Ritchie's parents. It is New Year's Eve, lots of traffic, people drink and drive... I'm looking forward to seeing how far off base I am. Or not. Sorry to go on so long, but this is fun.

    November 2014

You've created a Friday obsession for me, you wanker! ;-) Seriously, it's always such a complete pleasure to find a new chapter of one of my favorite stories waiting for me each week. Nice build up to CJ realizing his feelings for Ozzie; I've been looking forward to this moment. The threesome with Chipper was a surprise, but apparently a critical plot impetus for CJ's self-awareness. Great chapter. Bem feito!
  9. I just discovered your writing through this fabulous story. Late to the party, I know. This novel portrays the complicated and sometimes tragic reality of life - but with a very sweet romance to soften the edges and lift the spirit. I absolutely loved it, and found Nick's and Dave's loyal devotion to each other deeply reassuring. I also enjoyed the British setting and unique (for American readers) vocabulary. The escape is nice, especially given our national disaster November 8. :-/ Thank you for sharing you considerable talents with us.

    Rocky Ground

This is just such a treat to wake up on Friday morning and find an update of one of my very favorite stories. I love how this is progressing and how CJ projects an entertaining combination of healthy youthful insouciance combined with an almost unnatural maturity. I also came from a privileged background (though nothing close to his) and I don't think I handled it nearly as well. I'm especially touched by his love for his little brother, who continues to be raised by that witch and the asshole father. Thank you so much for this ongoing gift. Abraços!
  12. Thank you for this beautiful gift! I'm a voracious reader and I'd just finished another story that was superb, but took the reader on a gut-wrenching roller coaster ride. This was a sweet, uplifting and welcome respite. You made my day.
  13. What a beautiful, haunting, utterly compelling, and ultimately joyful story! Such a hellish roller coaster ride to get there, though. I shed a few tears and bit a few nails along these kids' journey. It's late October, 2016, and, having just discovered 18 Weeks of Twoey, I had the treat of reading it through without having to wait for updates. I feel that having the entire story to read at my pace made it especially powerful. After seeing the other reviews, I no longer feel silly for becoming so attached to these guys and for hating to have to part with them. Truth be told, finishing the story left such a void I had to re-read the last few chapters; I wasn't ready to let go. I'll resist any temptation to pull a "David" by over thinking or analyzing plot lines and unanswered questions. Honestly, all dramatic arts require a certain suspension of disbelief, and I was happy to allow myself to become fully engrossed in your mesmerizing story and fill in the blanks through my own imagination and life filters. The ending took my breath away as I shared David's and Twoey's tears. Bravo!

    We're Alive

Hey C, I'm JP from Nifty. Thanks for directing me to also find you here. After seeing other readers' comments, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that CJ was over. You're such a talented writer with a fertile imagination, and you've drawn us into this sweet world of CJ and his friends and family. Like your other readers, I have grown so fond of these characters and am relieved as hell that I'll be able to enjoy more of them. JP I know that my username "tesao" seems odd. Ask a Brazilian friend. ;-)
