good job bub....the thing I'm worried about is the fact that Oli says but Teddy only focuses on the rock star part, not the one day he was going to kill himself. Hopefully Oli isn't thinking along the same lines. I don't think he is, he seems a little happier than Ryder was, but he did refer to himself as one of the hidden ones.

I think he realized what his inaction on the night of the party truly cost him in losing Teddy's friendship. Plus, now that he is a cop, he sees first hand what bullying can do to a person. He knows he needs protect Ryder now that he can and maybe try to repair his friendship with Teddy.

Ace and I had a few discussions on whether or not to end this book this way...when we discussed the timeline and events that happen, this was the place where this part of this story ends and a new story begins...The Hidden Ones were revealed, the spotlight was shone on them...their secrets came out of the shadows...but now Ryder has the labels of addict, crazy, suicidal, hopeless, and any other label people and the media place on him...now he has to work his way back and resurrect his career and become their Messiah again! oh and work on his relationship with Teddy probably too

You would really give up on a story 39 chapters in just because it APPEARS something is going to be bad and not go the way you think it should??? Real life isn't rainbows and unicorns....a lot of people like to write stories that reflect real life. To say the story is going down the drain is insulting Ace's vision. Maybe you should wait and see what happens before you say something is going down the drain and you're not going to continue reading it. Why would you wait a few chapters before looking in for a welfare check? And what does the term welfare check even mean? For whose welfare are you checking? Thank you...I figure you've seen my comments about Velocity. I will defend Jamie's death any time any day. THat was the ONLY way it could've ended. Not all relationships are smooth sailing. There may be stormy seas out there and maybe a ship gets blown off course...but in the end they always end at their needed destination.

@Renee Stevens make sure you take out almost every "that" you have in your story, @Kitt HATES that hehehe @Carlos Hazday and I were talking a while ago and I told him I had thought about sending Kitt a document claiming to be a chapter to edit that had nothing but "that" repeated ....I would repeat it like 5,000 times just for you Kitt....I love y'all and y'all know it

Please, Teddy is a little spoiled brat who everyone feels sorry for. He was bully until the day at Mike's party. Not stopping the bullying is participating as far as I'm concerned.

Allow me to preamble this and state-nothing that follows is a hard fact as far as the story goes. I have knowledge of the direction, but I will not spoil that for y'all and would never do that to Ace (he's p art of my online family). Now allow me to ask a few questions... Okay did anyone around here read The Underground: Velocity??? do you think Ace is afraid to kill off a main character??? What if Ryder accidentally od's on his prescription meds, which he has already started abusing??? What if Teddy can't handle what Ryder is contemplating and gives up and ends things??? What if Brandon decides he liked the kiss and Ryder seduces him into bed and they end up together, while Teddy forgives Mike, who finally admits to being in love with him (evidence is all throughout the story) and they end up together??? Or what if Ryder starts on a downward spiral which leads him pushing literally everyone around him away??? Including the band, Teddy's uncle and parents, Liz and Blake, and Teddy himself....He then starts a solo career but keeps the name Messiah because he has become so delusional that he believes he is his fan's savior and the best way to save them is to follow his lead when he posts to social media a message which reads: "If you're like me and end up destroying everything around you that is beautiful because you're as effed up as I am, follow my lead. Don't let those around be destroyed because you're selfish." and the next day he is found hanging from a ceiling??? Are there really and truly HEA's in the real world??? Now, again let me say, nothing above is the direction the story is going, so don't speculate anything. I just wanted to point out that Ace isn't afraid to kill his main character and leave the other completely destroyed,.

Oh Ace...I love the way our minds work....some of the phrases in the chapter are perfectly written....like I so want to point out .....or when they say .....and then OMG the comments are exactly what we said they would be and the speculations....sooner or later your readers are going to realize that you met up with a sick and twisted editor at one point and we couldn't stop ourselves......or maybe that didn't happen and everything will work out in the end....cuz Teddy owns a white horse and a knight's armor right???

Hudson, please don't hate me, but I had to say something about this: Wasn't that the last book??? I mean this is only Chapter 3 and they're not doing porn anymore and they're still getting covered in the white stuff??? HA!!!!

And nobody is very surprised about the kiss with Brandon???? Oh and the line was "Marilyn Manson and his bassist would have oral sex on stage." hehehe Ewww ugly visual of Twiggy and Marilyn Manson doing it (neither are remotely attractive...well not in a conventional way)
