I had so much fun writing the story I submitted. I'm almost finished reading all the stories, I think I have two left to read. Great job to all who worked on getting this together. I'm looking forward to working on something for the next Anthology!
Are y'all just now realizing Anton's attitude issues? Seriously, he's been a snotty brat since his dad was taken care of. He's been short with contractors, employees, his brothers, his mom when she was alive, and pretty much anyone else he's come in contact with.
I know that Aaron coming in at the last minute to save Kevin without Kevin knowing he was back could be considered convenient, but similar situations have happened to me. I show up at a party down where I'm originally from and run into friends I haven't talked to in years. So, it was more coincidental than convenient
Thank you for commenting. We normally don't see what's right in front of our faces unless we're looking for it. Mark was a kid that liked the party. He wanted to be a effed up as possible and do whatever felt good. Those things that make you feel good though have claws that dig in deep and seap the life out of you slowly.
Aaron will help Kevin realize that there was nothing in the world that he could've done to save Mark without being there. And even then, Mark would have to want the help. I don't think he would've taken it. He was already too far gone.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with sappy, romantic stories, you political soapbox, left wing agenda supporter author. *totally giving you crap Carlos you know I love ya!)
Seriously, thank you for your positive words. They mean more than you know coming from a talented author like you.
Great now I'm getting sappy. grrrr
Kevin was lucky that they always practiced safe. Mark gave him a place to stay in order to have someone there to give the illusion he was loved and could love someone else.
The right choice isn't always the easiest or best choice. Everyone has the weigh the pros and cons for themselves and the choice that benefits the person best with minimal effect on others is the best choice.
Hey bub, yeah Mark was a slimeball, but if Kevin had been paying attention at the parties, he probably would've figure it out sooner. Aaron showed up at the opportune time and gave Kevin his path out.
In the end, Kevin's guilt was gone. Aaron saw where Kevin's mind was going and put a stop to it before he could convince himself he could've saved Mark. The note was Kevin's way of trying to help Mark without having to be involved in his life past that point. And Aaron never stopped loving Kevin and Kevin never stopped loving Aaron. Thanks for the comment.
there is nothing that says that any story on here had to have any sexual content at all... that's not what this site is about... it's about quality stories
Carlos....you know I absolutely adore you and CJ....but it's getting so political...and I realize you warned us about that happening in this part of the story, it's just hard getting used to it, but I'm getting there and you know I'm just giving you crap about the political thing right?
