That was my take. Until now, even when I post the whole story on timed release of the chapters, I don't mark it complete until it's all visible, lest someone think it's done after whatever chapter is posted at the time they read it. Seems best to wait until it's all there to finalize it. The problem arises from the author being able to see things the reader can't. I never know what readers CAN see. So I err on the side of the reader.

These must be recent changes here, as I didn't know about the graphic designating a story complete. I usually don't change the story to 'complete' until after the last chapter posts. As that was at midnight, i didn't do it until this morning. Sorry for the confusion!

The story is complete. The presents were not shown because we didn't get to Christmas day yet. The story ended on Christmas Eve. There's no time to write another story for New Years. The next one would normally be Valentine's Day. But I did suggest in this story that the guys would want to get together to go to Engris to check on their friends there, and maybe take Max and the kids and Nicholaas along. So we'll see how that plays out. I'll be sure to let you know what everyone received! It's nice to know you and others enjoy the series, and get something good from it. That's the best present I could hope to get!

I didn't show the gifts because it hadn't gotten to Christmas yet. It just didn't feel right to have Christmas come in the story when it had not arrived yet. Plus, it will be a nice surprise in the next story! There was also the small fact that I couldn't think of really great stuff for everybody before the story was due to be posted, so decided to give myself time to work on that!

Auggie is his own person. If he is to be neutered, he'll get it done himself. Don't see that happening, though. So far there is only one of him. Pretty hard to reproduce with only one copy!
