Aw! I may have to go out and find a cat that will be able to stand me! Great little chapter. Sad for Hunter, but at least he has friends who will comfort him.

Good chapter. There need to be more moments like this, where meeting in the middle provides good company and food for thought, rather than an excuse to look away.

I just read chapter one, and the story looks like fun! I didn't know there was more to read before this. I made a note about Cupid Central and your A.I. trilogy. I found the new chapter under your 'Activity' page tab in your profile. Even if the story didn't show in the update queue, everything you do shows there. Right beneath your lament that you cannot edit and post at the same time, is the entry, 'Two Brothers at the Office, Timothy M. posted new chapter in Diego's Dance with Death'. I clicked on that, and here I am! -

Yes, this sounds like writer's block, and it was sad to read. But, certainly, anyone that could write this is NOT experiencing writer's block! Or, at least, not experiencing a loss of inspiration.

There is some logic to the idea that we select friends based on looks. Very often, it is a person's looks that draw our interest first. After we get to know them, if we like them, we just consider the fact that they're cute to be a real bonus! But...it's fiction, and supposed to be fun! How would it be if it had been like this? Brian looked about, and saw only ugly, mean-spirited guys, all around him. "Crap! I'm going home!" The End

Two very thoughtful verses. Different in nature, but kind of the same in focus. Both seem to be contemplating an end of some sort. I thought them very well done. But I also think you might benefit from a nice dose of spring weather!

Well, there has to be someone out there that feels the way you do. Maybe most guys aren't the same these days. But if you can feel the way you do, someone else can, too. Looking for love is hard. Finding it can be even harder. But don't rule it out. The guy looking at dogs in the pet shop right next to you may be the one.

There is no rush in finding love. It gets to you when it gets to you. You'll know it when you see it, believe me!

My dad and I actually built the Bee, and it's the source for the car in the story. Much of the story is based on true life. I sold the car when I went off to college. It was by then a huge, black money hole. It was a great car, but at that point I truly understood the attitude of the guy I originally bought it from. I loved it, but I could not longer afford it.

I felt it fairly young. Still feel it today. It can be a source of complete frustration, but also a source of very great joy.
