Well, this is me & my mans song. Shania Twain - From This Moment On. If you don't remember it, follow the link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8qj2MzIlJw (I do swear that I'll always be there. I'd give anything and everything and I will always care. Through weakness and strength, happiness and sorrow, for better, for worse, I will love you with every beat of my heart.) From this moment life has begun From this moment you are the one Right beside you is where I belong From this moment on From this moment I have been blessed I live only for your happiness And for your love I'd give my last breath From this moment on I give my hand to you with all my heart Can't wait to live my life with you, can't wait to start You and I will never be apart My dreams came true because of you From this moment as long as I live I will love you, I promise you this There is nothing I wouldn't give From this moment on You're the reason I believe in love And you're the answer to my prayers from up above All we need is just the two of us My dreams came true because of you From this moment as long as I live I will love you, I promise you this There is nothing I wouldn't give From this moment I will love you as long as I live From this moment on

Mmmm, could've added the last episode of Friends & Frasier to that. Wonder if we'll see anything quite like them again?

Stargate SG-1! I love Canada. The Border is cool to, think it airs on FX

Been on a few Pride marches in my time, but really can't be assed now. I just don't feel the need to parade myself on the streets of London in a thong & chaps! Those days are far behind me. lol Still go for the concert though, so my support isn't totally lacking, but would much rather do a bit of shopping first.

Hey guys, Was flicking through the Sky channels today & came across an episode of Emmerdale (UK soap) that I havn't seen in years. Probably one of the best episodes they have filmed. Super bitch Kim Tate faked her own death and returned to shock husband Frank who had spent time in prison for her murder. Frank attacked her, causing another heart attack. She watched him die, saying "You're a dinosaur Frank, and you know what happened to them". When Frank died, she checked he was dead with her compact mirror, then redid her makeup & saunters off. Total classic moment in a soap. I know you guys outside the UK have no idea what I'm going on about, but bare with me. This got me to thinking about certain shows & classic episodes, & what you would define as your ULTIMATE TV show & moment. My show would have to be Bones. Shocker I know, but it's well written, humorous, has David Boreanaz in it (yum), characters perfectly interact with each other & has the will they won't thing going on. Oh, did I mention it has David Boreanaz in it..... God, he has an ass you could just lose yourself in. Sigh. Star Trek is hovering there as well as favourite, can't decide. Anyway, my moment was Princess Diana's funeral, because simply is was just extraordinary. It's over to you.

Well, am not gonna have a big old pic of me up here, will give ya something to throw darts at! I do have a pic of me on my profile, so that will have to suffice.

<hugs>SRevol<hugs> I think that has to be the ultimate betrayal. I have never understood how any parent could be anything but loving to their own child, no matter what the circumstances. A friend of mine went through it some years ago, & I was totally gobsmaked when he told his story. Makes me wanna punch a few thick heads in!

Don't mind cooking at all, so not a chore Do a bit of dusting now & again, works better if you wrap said duster round your foot. Put foot on coffee table & move from side to side whilst watching TV. Gets real shiney after a couple of hours. Washing dishes is fine, have a dishwasher. Totally detest cleaning the bathroom, which is why having an anally retentive partner comes in dead handy sometimes. If you leave it just long enough....

Any bets on how long Brad's sensitive side is gonna last? lol Excellent as always Mark. Another HIV- revealed, but this one not so much of a shock. Waiting for all the plots to be revealed is akin to opening a chocolate bar very slowly, frustrating. When all you want to do is rip off the wrapper. Grrr

I have only been attacked once, outside a gay nightclub, as I was about to buzz the door. I put up a hell of a fight, but what can you do against 5 or 6 of them? Learned my lesson from that, always walked with someone in the future. As for verbal abuse, not so much. Think that has more to do with my size than anything, according to my man I can be quite intimidating! lol I think a lot has moved on though since I first came out in the late 80's. Certainly here in the UK anyway. Ok we're not allowed to marry, but can have a civil partnership, which by all accounts gives more rights (tax wise) than a married couple. Age of consent is now equal across the board. There is still a hell of a lot to do, & a long way to go, but small steps. But just going out & about, people seem to be a lot more accepting than they once were. I'm not saying by any means that any kind of utopia exists, far from it. But attitudes are starting to change.

My other half has family in Edmonton, so we've been a couple of times & loved it. Though I know what you mean about hockey, it's everywhere!

That's the million dollar question, & I really don't think there is a clear cut answer, barring the obvious. Sometimes I think it's just too easy to throw something away & start again. That sounds clinical I know, but as I view it & people around me, harldly anyone wants to try anymore. Some people are so self absorbed, they fail to see what's happening 'til it's too late. I remember cos I was one of them once. Have learned a lot of lessons the hard way by many a failed relationship, some of them really bad & destructive. Dan was right when he said that it takes a hell of a lot of work to keep things together. I mean, I've been with my guy for what will be 5 years in March, & he's not perfect by any means, by the same token neither am I. Some things he does irritates the hell outta me sometimes, but the upshot is I love him. But I think in all that time we've had 2 really bad rows, but the fallout has never lasted any longer than a day. For us it's just communication, if ya don't talk your doomed, if you bottle stuff up then all it does is eat at you. Is there ever a Mr or Miss perfect? I very much doubt it. You just love someone for who they are, flaws & all.

I think the options at the top pretty much cover things ok. I'd have to say that I'm the reluctant Alpha, & I think that this is the first relationship ever, where that is the case. Before, it was always pretty much 50-50, not just in bed but in everyday life as well. With my partner now, I guess I had to take control, otherwise we'd never get anything done, & he's very happy that I do that. lol And yeah, when we go out I do tend to drive. Mainly because I hate anyone else driving my baby, even my man.

I drive a BMW M3, black with black & red leather interior. It's a tad heavy on the petrol, mainly cos I have lead in my shoe, but refuse to trade her in. My better half thinks I love my car more than him! Some days he has a point.

Message Board Topic 2/23
Sir Galahad replied to Comsie's topic in Comicality's Shack Clubhouse's Cafe
Well, I guess you wouldn't be alone in thinking that. Though I have to admit that everyone has their own interpretation of his work. For me in places it can be quite beautiful & powerful, whilst in others the language he uses & the way he uses it is almost barbaric. Still if he were alive now, he'd be a extreamly rich man, as well as very old! lol -
None of the above. lol Use Corel WordPerfect Office x4. I use MS Office at work, but if I have to take docs home, wordperfect can still edit them. Just find the whole program easier to use than Office 2007, plus it comes with Quattro Pro which I use quite a lot for spreadsheets etc.

I have to have my other half peel my eggs, can't stand the smell, makes me retch every time. Of course, I can't really eat them either cos of said smell, which makes the first exercise pointless. As for Haggis, ewww, do you people have any idea what's in that s*it, gross. How anyone can knowingly eat sheep's stomach, filled with lambs lungs & heart (amongst other things), is beyond me. Anyway, I'm off to have my bland British breakfast, followed by equally dull coffee, followed by a certain American, spit roasted slowly over a fire with a apple in his mouth! Yum.

Man In Motion: Name that kink
Sir Galahad replied to Mark Arbour's topic in Mark Arbour Fan Club's Topics
Butt plugs, dildos, riding crop & jodhpurs. Not necessarily in that order! U never know, they may like horsey games!! Gives another meaning to getting back in the saddle. -
Man In Motion: Name that kink
Sir Galahad replied to Mark Arbour's topic in Mark Arbour Fan Club's Topics
Mark, u're such a tease. lol I still reckon it's the whole master slave thing, but my judgement has been way off base lately. Perhaps Robbie likes being spanked with a copy Of Time magazine while Neil sings excerpts from the Sound of Music wearing a feather boa & hot pants! -
Ja, looks like a few of us got it wrong with Stef & Greg, so now it's a waiting game to see who is infected. Not sure how many Mark has in mind, but have a feeling a main character is gonna have it. Am sticking to my guns & saying Marc & Roger, but hope JP has escaped. That said this awful virus takes no prisoners. The waiting game begins...again.
-
This is a tough one, cos at one point or other they were all total sluts! But, if I had to pick, I'd go for Stefan & maybe Marc, but again it's like it could be any or all. If Stefan has it then it's a good bet Greg is HIV+, & so on. Roger as well could be infected, after all he did have all those guys in the bath house. My head hurts now, thinking too much with a hangover will do that to ya.

Man In Motion: Name that kink
Sir Galahad replied to Mark Arbour's topic in Mark Arbour Fan Club's Topics
Well, I was referring to Neil being submissive, but you bring up a good point, it could well be Robbie. However, we could be shitting in the wrong litter box altogether....now there's a thought!! Eww gross, maybe not. -
Man In Motion: Name that kink
Sir Galahad replied to Mark Arbour's topic in Mark Arbour Fan Club's Topics
Mmmm, depends what you clasify as kinky!! lol Size queen, probably, but that's not a kink, just human nature Do we get a prize for getting it correct?? Cos I could go on for pages. I'm gonna say he's a total submissive, & Robbie takes care of him in every way, hence the huge credit card bills. $10000 was a lotta money in '85 & even now. Answers on a postcard please. Adrian.
