This was a "feel good" chapter after several "heavy" ones that were sometimes difficult to read! Glad to hear it's not the end!

That was a difficult chapter! I'm angry with Puppy most of all for his bad choices and Hunter for being such a dick! And proud of Steven for his loyalty to his "half-brother"!! There will be consequences!

Hunter's home life should not be a discussion with anyone else. He trusted Puppy with the truth now it's going to be difficult to dodge other questions - perhaps more and more lies! Not good!

I have to agree with some of my fellow readers. As unlikely as it is, getting David "hooked-up" with someone would probably be the best solution for everyone involved - including David! The sooner the better because I could see a scenario where he completely freaks and goes postal! -

Yes a difficult chapter but hopefully the worse is over for the boys. With Mom and Dad's advise and comfort I hope it will help ease their pain. Dave definitely has severe inferiority issues that may need professional help! I too am a bit anxious about Puppy and Hunter getting together. It appears Hunter is a player out only for himself!! Great stuff James! -

Yes I believe Puppy is truly beginning to "live" and feel comfortable in his new life with a family, a brother that seems to care about his happiness and now a new boyfriend! School will be the next big adventure! Greenstone, as specifically Watson, still remains a mystery - with all the secrecy surrounding Cindy's adoption!! Something is just not right and it smells like a "cover-up"!! Great writing James, you paint a very vivid picture of all the characters and I'm thoroughly enjoying the ride! Thank you!! -

Well I will echo everyone else's concerns about Greenstone - something does not smell right!! Puppy does not get a break with a good doctor - I mean its obvious he should have been issued crutches !! As a side note James - you used one of my favorite words "dithering" which is rarely used! I love it!!! Thank you for a wonderful story !! -

It was a great read packed with powerful emotions that, as far as I'm concerned, were true to form detailing real scenarios of a very difficult war zone! Excellent writing considering this was "outside your comfort zone"! Thank you James.

Good for Puppy! Stillworth was very accusatory and judgmental towards Puppy suggesting his complicity without listening to his story! Charlotte simply does not like Puppy - this seems evident to me. Why is no one talking with Cindy to get the facts??? Are we even positive she made a phone call to Max??

The DNA will authenticate Max as the biological father but many questions will remain as to why he was not in his life until now! Great story James - I have great empathy for "Puppy" !
