Back in the saddle after a short absence. Getting caught up with this fantastic story !!! So many sub-plots going on it keeps me spellbound.. I'm sure Jason's story will be forthcoming. There is definitely a connection to Chris/John. And Bill - he's creepy!

What a great chapter and story Geoff. And yes that's true about the usual 2-year exclusionary period for life insurance. And I also agree - Mr. Jacobs took the east-way out!!! Can't wait for the next chapter and the "mentioned" sequel!!! -

I am thoroughly enjoying this story. You are an expert at weaving intrigue into your cast of characters. I am definitely hooked. Thank you! In my experiences with the homeless population, mental health was an enormous problem which was exasperated by poorly funded programs to address the problems. Interestingly, you bring a character by the mane of "Major" into the original story. Veterans, probably unbeknownst to most, make up a significant portion of the homeless population here in the US.

Great story. Having worked in the homeless arena for several years I am well aware of the desperation and hopelessness of the "guests". My husband and I continue to contribute monetarily to deserving agencies what we can because we both know our governments tend to turn a blind eye to their problems. Look forward to the next installment of The Boot.

A sigh is right! A wonderful wonderful story. Thank you. The rings you pictured and described are nearly what my husband and I have. Coloring is different - Silver outside roped bands with copper in the middle. What a coincidence!!
