Yes I have to agree with Gary - any kind of child abuse is reprehensible!! Having grown up in California (eons ago) I believe corporal punishment was forbidden even then! I really enjoy this budding relationship between Ethan and Wayne and hope it continues to grow and blossom. A very good story even with its difficult context!

I know what you mean. Priorities have a way of getting into the middle of things. Actually my nephew turned me on to their music. Some of it is pretty heavy metal but the lyrics are captivating! "All it takes is for good people to look the other way." Interesting thought – brings to my mind the story of the Polish residents living in the vicinity of the Nazi Death Camps. At first they complained about the smell. It was from the corpses lying in the open and unburied. After the Nazis started the ovens and burned up the corpses, the residents started to complain about the 'black snow' (ashes) that fell from the stacks of Bergen-Belsen and Auswich (sp?), but nothing was ever done about it until after the war. 'Oh, we didn't know!' Yeah, sure… Besides they were just Jews, Gypsies and Queers, anyway, were they not? Very well put Will! We all are guilty to some degree of being too self-absorbed to see or smell the truth and act upon it! It's simply "safer" to bury our heads and pretend all is well! Besides they were JUST Jews, Gypsies and Queers !!!

Yes I agree, Kyle and Megan need to carefully tread this circumstance. Adoptions can be difficult to discuss with the children but I am a firm believer that the truth is always better than a cover-up - or in this case - simply keeping the facts hidden! I am so glad Jett is in a position to be of assistance in determining the whereabouts of Dr. Asshole! Great writing kbois - I'm actually feeling Kyle and Megan's angst!!

OMG - what a bombshell ! Not only do I feel compassion for Kim but now I worry about the aftershocks Kyle is going to endure! Jett will have his hands full. I take it Kim's parents still somehow have resentful feeling towards her!! Great story kbois but a difficult read!
