WOW! A powerful chapter! Jered is not the brightest bulb on the block but still, Cheryl is being awfully vengeful! She does not want anyone of "her" family and "her" friend to know of their separation! It might be the lawyers' persona but it seems a bit too damming and self-centered on her part. Granted Jared screwed up - big time - but, she seems hellbent on making him suffer to the most severe degree instead of trying to reach some sort of reconciliation.

Connor and Jason seem good for each other. Let's hope Jason's Dad recovers and he opens up to both parents about his sexuality.

Jason needs to own his feelings and let his gay self out otherwise he will be driving himself more crazy! Connor seemingly has more experience with being out but seems like a good guy and he is obviously totally into Jason!

I am new to this story but I believe it is autobiographical to a great extent! My love story is similar to yours just California based!. My husband and I are still together after 43 years!! Great story and thank you r-eric!!

Anger issues with Helene are probably going to be nothing compared to the tornado of Heinrich. I just hope Jerry remains at his best friend's side during this shit storm!! And - given the chance - Debbie will make mincemeat out of Zoltan I am sure! An absolutely fantastic story Parker! Thank you so much!!

A very good and interesting chapter. I also find ancient history fascinating! Circumnavigating the ocean in a small craft has got to be crazy scary !! Although, I would jump at a chance to take a rocket ride to the moon or to the red planet !!

Well I'm just going to say I believe Farmer saw the writing on the wall and was resourceful enough to get Phillip in the loop to insure the boys safety!!

Yes I agree Farmer was acting as a surrogate father and now Phillip knows that as well! Let's hope he can convince Detective Murphy to keep CPS out of the picture!

Yes I agree it seems conclusive that Neil is a victim of physical abuse and probably verbal abuse as well! Cousin Jorge seems supportive and somewhat calming to Neil! I wonder if West will be allowed to stay home from the family trip???

Interesting chapter. It seems West is truly concerned and/or questioning the school board's closed-door secretive decision! It might be racism at its worst!!!

The boys definitely need a more isolated environment where they can openly express their feelings and desires! Perhaps Connor's flat will be the perfect place for that to happen "along with dinner" !!

Connor was not going to stand Jason up but felt the need to reinforce his intentions of being there albeit a little late!! Me thinks Connor is as much smitten as Jason is!! Good chapter - but - I just wish Jason would be honest with his parents. He has been a good and devoted son to the family and I sense they will be accepting and encourage his developing relationship!

An extremely well written chapter Parker!! I believe I was holding my breathe the for entire drive to Chicago! Rick's frustrations were well conveyed and powerful! I am sooo glad someone called for a plumber! ( A great line.) Now the real disentanglement between Gus and Zoltan begins. I only hope Gus, having Rick at his side, will empower him to standup to Zoltan's demands! Superb writing my friend - thank you!!
