At times Adam does appear to be too nice towards others for his own good. Hopefully he isn't going to get hurt as a result. On the other hand there would only be Adam's word as to what happened and what was said. Is Kyle likely to tell anyone else what he told Adam & Troy? Jason would deny it and the father would believe him rather than Kyle as he would never accept that Jason was gay.

It seems Troy is learning from Adam on some things while the reverse is true on others. They do complement each other for sure. As for Jason, see my comments to glennish.

Thanks glennish. I'm think Jason would have been sure to make his move somewhere he couldn't be seen. Closet case? Perhaps - rather depends on which brother is telling the truth.

Thanks @flesco for the suggestion. I think it worked well into the story and how Adam conducts himself - the pen is mightier than the sword! I'll admit to being concerned as to how readers would react to the birthday spanking in view of Adam's history, but it seemed to me that with Troy requesting it while wearing his new sexy briefs, Adam would agree to deliver. Then to find that Troy 'enjoyed' it has helped him move on from some of his past horrors. Hopefully next chapter in a week.

Thanks @Reader1810 It did start off here as a response to a word prompt. It seemed to go down well here and I decided to offer it to AD, where it has become my first ever story there. You are right about it being both bittersweet and sweet and it hopefully showed that perhaps objects do sometimes hold a special power.

Am sure Adam shares your hopes with regard to his ma. Circumcision was the norm here too in my time, but the world has changed in that regard. It gave Adam an experience of something he can't feel himself - whether it will be repeated, who knows?

I suspect that if anything happened to Troy Adam probably would fall to pieces. Adam may appear to be a rock, but he needs an anchor. For now though these do appear to be good times for them.

I can sort of understand your frustration over the counselling, but Adam did give his reasons (if only to himself) and I'm pretty sure his new family would soon say something if they noticed hi acting out of character. Adam probably even for a template for his thank you note I think he is expecting his ma will give up in disgust when she reads it. Spanking and docking - new experiences for both and A&T both got pleasure from each. The restaurant is just other example of how Adam's life has changed, but in other less obvious ways perhaps, he has also changed Troy's.

As said I did appreciate the suggestion and am glad you think Adam got it right. I'm sure they were both nervous about the birthday spanking, Troy especially in case he was pushing Adam too far, but I think Adam ended up convinced that he was doing something totally different to what he had experienced and which Troy 'got a lil raise' from :-) Whether he can out his past behind him enough to ask Troy to spank him on his birthday is, perhaps, another matter.

I knew I shouldn't hate my ma, after all if it wasn't for her I'd not be here, but it was now very evident that she actually loathed and detested me.
