  1. Hi All! This email went out on July 5th. Unfortunately, it has been brought to our attention that not everyone got. Investing the report, I found we were about 1000 people short of what should have sent for reason unknown. I therefore am posting it here so people don't get spammed if we posted it again. Thank You, Subscribers! Thank you to all our Premium Membership subscribers. Premium keeps the lights on here at Gay Authors and we invest in new content as well as further improvements to the site. Without you, we would not stay open. ** Browse Premium Stories ** Again, Thanks! Attention Authors! Speaking of investing in new content, how does earning 💲💲 for your writing sound? We love likes, comments, and reviews, but what author doesn't also enjoy getting a little payment for their hard work? We need your stories for Premium! 2. A fresh start is a positive move forward. Enjoy our new system for posting stories!
  3. Yes. It was in the same memo about ways to yell at your kid to be quiet while on a Skype/Zoom call...
  4. Yes. Use Ignore. It can be found in a couple locations or you can go directly, https://gayauthors.org/ignore/
  5. The Writer's Circle Club would be a good place to discuss different topics. The blog comment area is best suited for discussing the blog topic at hand.
  6. Thanks @Renee Stevens!
  7. As the schedule currently sits, we are planning on upgrading the forum software to the newest version in the next couple of weeks depending on how the software patching process for the Stories Archive software goes. As part of that roll out, I'll be changing how we handle new member registration as well as the information available in the profile. One of the more visible changes is that we are going to remove the birthday and Age in Years fields and replace it with the Age Range demographic option. Being accurate here is important for safety concerns for our younger members. I have deployed the updated fields on site already, but I have not updated the "Profile Completion" prompt yet. There will be only one mandatory field, which you can update any time starting today. If you go to your profile (click your icon on the upper right of the page), then choose edit profile, you'll get this: Below this is a new section "Demographics and Interests": More: How posts appear will be changing as well: Please note that the "Member Title" field goes away that is currently below the Public Display Name. You can set "Member Title" as your "Topic Display Title" and then stick in whatever title you'd like in the "My Words" field. Or you can choose "Motto", like shown above. There are other options, go check them out. Hope this helps!
