Omg don't think I can wait that long til the next chapter comes out lol. I'm so hooked on this story. Poor Billy, he's going to have to do a lot of growing up and maturing. Maybe now that the "other" Billy in the mirror is gone, he can find himself again. Great chapter!! -

Very interesting chapter!! Seems as though many things are about to come to head in Billy's life. I hope he chooses to "man up" and deal with them appropriately. I can sense that he is going to experience loss, heartache, and regret very soon. Those are hard for anyone, much less a boy in the throws of puberty and trying to hide his true orientation. I feel Billy is about to deal with a lot of "grown up" issues that he's not prepared for. My stomach is in knots waiting on these next couple of chapters!!

Wow, Billy's world is turning into a shit show. He really burned some bridges this time, and I'm afraid he's going to have to deal with some of them being permanently damaged. I remember being 15, but I definitely don't remember acting like Billy. I would have never thought about doing or saying some of the things he has to his friends and parents. Is he mentally unstable? Is there some type of mental issue that hasn't been diagnosed? Teenage hormones and confusion are one thing, but he's gone off the rails with his anger. Definitely not just a normal hormonal teen. I hope Dustin can one day forgive him, even though he totally betrayed Dustin. I'm sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for the next chapter hahaha!!!!

The first poem reminds us all that even after we're gone, we continue to live in the hearts and minds of those who remain. Whether that memory is good or bad, is totally up to us and how we treat others. Beautiful Poem. The second one broke my heart.

Poor Ryder. He's totally lost his confidence, but I'm hoping now that Jeremy is there he can find it again. I don't know what I think about Shawn yet. I don't really think he's gay, or even questioning his sexuality so I'm hoping he's just finally trying to be a friend to Ryder. Lord knows Ryder doesn't need anyone to take advantage of him, or confuse him more than he already is. Great chapter!

Very tight quarters on that boat for such a long time. Wonder if our predator can hold on to his new outlook, or if he will slip back into his controlling, predatory ways. Should be interesting for sure!!

Ok so I feel like I missed something. Where is Erik? Did he move to the Blind School? And is Jamie now living there full time? Seems as though more drama just moved into the old Victorian house. I feel horrible for what Billy went through. He's definitely going to need some intensive therapy and a lot of love to overcome this. And poor Jerry. He has moments of lucidity and then goes backwards. Is there hope for him regaining a piece of his previous life??? Very interesting chapter indeed!! -
Thank you for this story. It was a beautiful story, with a perfect ending. Love, loss, trust, betrayal, forgiveness, hope......all part of life and so perfectly represented in this story. Standing ovation!!

Poor Ezra. What a terrible existence for such a sweet boy. I hope this is the turning point for him. He needs help before it's too late to counteract all of the pain and lies he's been forced to endure. My heart just breaks for him.

Very interesting chapter for sure. I'm sad to see Jerry has taken such a dramatic turn for the worse, and Erik being almost blind so quickly. Overall, a very sad chapter. the bright spot being Jamie and his introduction to the house. I sure that it goes well. All of the guys need something good in their lives, so hopefully they can all become a family. Looking forward to the next chapter, and hopefully brighter days! Nicely done! -

I had to laugh at them getting interrupted by Brett's mom. Brought back funny memories of several way-too-close calls I had as a teen lol. As a dad now, I can pretty well guarantee his mom knows what was glowing on. Whether kids know it or not, there is a look they have that parents immediately know and it says "guilty" haha. i hope they don't let others tear them apart. Hopefully the school will be more accepting than Billy thinks. Now, it's not that huge to be gay like it was 30 years ago. Tolerance levels are much higher, even in Middle and High schools. I'm sure they will find out they aren't the only gay boys in the school! -
Mercy....such a small word but such a powerful act. If the predator can truly understand mercy, then there may be hope for him yet. Fantastic chapter!
