  1. The Search for Pandora by @Graeme is fantastic. What am I thankful for... several things this year, but the most important one was the new friends and family here on GA. My Uncle and I went to Metropolitan Ministries and donated several bags of canned food. They have this annual drive for Thanksgiving and Christmas and feed thousands across the Bay Area. At Christmas, they even give toys to needy families. I believe it's three toys for each child in the family. Find a local charity that you can donate to. Be it canned or non-perishable food, cash, new and slightly used clothes, new toys, clean new socks (the most asked for item), and personal hygiene products.
  2. I will neither confirm or deny if that part actually happened. lol. 😎 Agreed. But there is also a limit on the number of tats as well. And frankly, some people wouldn't look good with them. I'm one of them.
  3. I don't do pain well, at all + Plus a fear of needles due to a bad blood draw when I was six = None at all. However, they are one hell of a turn on. Love a guy with tribal design tats, and the nips pierce. Though there is one type of tattoo that is an instant turn off, and a deal breaker. Words and Names. Especially names. I don't want to be in the moment of a good time, and look down and see "Grandma Milly, RIP." All interest lost at that point.
  4. Sleep Well, miss molly!
  5. Haven't watched the empire builder yet, but the next one on the list. The "Trip Report" that was on the Zepher had two private rental cars attached at the end of the train, once they left Denver. I need to look that up, because you are correct, they could rent a full car or a private one. Though, with Jeremy and Travis being 15-y/o in the story, they are considered "youth" by Amtrak.
  6. Sorry miss molly, I forgot to comment on this. This stretch was on the California Zepher video too. Absolutely gorgeous.
  7. Dragon Age 1 and 3. I didn't try two. Star Wars the Old Republic. Most MMOs have a gay guild that does stuff with and without role-play. There are others, but they are not coming to me right now.
  8. True. Most of what I posted were quotes from a few different news sites. We have a bad problem here in Tampa too, with the homeless and drugs. Sleep Well, Agent D. Stay Warm!
  9. I took a day trip to Miami on Amtrak one. I was like 10 and it was with a church group. Don't remember most of it. I do remember that they had a cafe car, with a nice egg salad sandwich.
  10. We don't have the cedar trees down here in Tampa, but the damn Grandfather Oaks is a pain in the arse.
  11. One thing I've learned from watching these videos. DO NOT get a Roomette as they are Tiny AF. Do not go coach-class as it looks like it's pretty nasty on some trains. The Superliner trains are by far the better ones. It may take longer to get to where you're going, but it looks like it's worth it. Always travel sleeper car, as the food is included, plus you get lounge perks like some of the different Travel Club members. The food looks really damn good, this guy has been on several trains, doing these YouTube Docs, and to quote, "I've not had one bad meal on Amtrak. I'm not sure why it has such a bad rep." Yeah, I'm planning a cross-country trip one day. Enjoy TV time with Mike, my Brother. Sleep Well, and see you tomorrow.
  12. So the train from San Antonio goes through Austin. From what he recorded of it, @mollyhousemouse it looks like a nice place too.
  13. LOL... I mention Zillow, and it was the second link on the search results on Google, when I was looking up the parking spot info... And I just got an email from Zillow... asking if I want to search for homes in SanFran. LOL I have an account on Zillow, so I can look at Tampa homes, for my series. It is where I found Jeremy's, Travis', Erin Ros', and < REDACTED > houses. Some of the pictures are in my Tampa Chronicles Gallery.
  14. I think so. What I posted above came from HuffPo.
  15. Did not know that. How does he like it out there? But honestly, I just hate California in General.
  16. Parking Spot: https://www.sfgate.com/bayarea/nevius/article/82-000-parking-space-a-sign-of-the-times-4597575.php $82,000 to buy one. Zillow has a dedicated search for Parking Spots in SF. They currently list ten.
  17. It's literally a shytehole. They have an app for residences that tell you what streets are safe to walk on because no one has shyted on the street. Or have used needles thrown about. Most expensive city in CA, where you have to purchase a parking spot in front of your house which may cost more than your house, and they have a homeless problem worse than Chicago, Atlanta, and New York combined.
  18. It was so cold... a polar bear was wearing an electric blanket! I just spent the past hour watching another train video. This time it was the California Zypher from Chicago to that Shytehole city San Fransico. @MacGreg You have one damn beautiful state! It's now on the bucket list. Same guy who did the Zypher is doing another one from San Antonio to St. Louis.
  19. I love this train... I want to ride it! 45 min long video.
  20. Reader posted before I did, so don't forget to thank her too. 🙂
  21. They have the Monthly option in the states too. It's $9.99 a month for us.
  22. Awesome! It's almost chili time. I must try the Instant Pot recipe I found.
  23. I'm heading off to cook too. Pork Chops, and something else to go with it which I haven't decided on.
