Chapter 25 - Totally Yours
Shadow086 commented on Comicality's story chapter in Chapter 25 - Totally Yours
For some reason I always thought Gyro from GFD would make a good Scotty Lynch. -
I sure hope Brody won't let Zack talk him out of loving him, but it's going to take a lot more than a few hours in a toy store to get Zack to start healing. I don't think Brody realises how bad Zack's situation is, the emotional scars run much deeper than the physical ones and I don't know that Brody is equipped or prepared to heal them. I hope I'm wrong, but Zack's attitude could very well be a self-fulfilling prophecy. I have to say, I'm always a little apprehensive when I'm reading this story, because I'm half-expecting to see things come tumbling down whenever Zack gets a break. They did skip school, after all.

I don't think we'll find out yet. Knowing Com the next chapter will probably be about Ian or Mr. Franks or something. I just wish they'd come clean about everything before they got back together, to avoid these situations.
-
Greg, huh? Interesting... I don't know if he's the mystery boy or not, but if he is, shouldn't Billy be relieved that it wasn't AJ, at least? I'm guessing we'll know more when Ollie does his own little interrogation. It looks like the stage is set for B&B to make their big coming out. That should be fun. I have to admit, though, I'm looking forward to have the old school gang again. I mean, these guys are fun and all, but I miss Sam, and Trace, and Jamie Cross. By the way, whatever happened to Ian's movie? We haven't really heard a thing about that.

Chapter 25 - Totally Yours
Shadow086 commented on Comicality's story chapter in Chapter 25 - Totally Yours
For some reason, I'm now expecting Jimmy to give a shout out to "Jesse-101 and his boyfriend Tristan". Wouldn't that be just great? The thing is Tristan is still very much of the belief that his dating Jesse is too good to be true, and he sees signs of their relationship falling apart wherever he looks. It's also nice to see a Jimmy that isn't a complete nutcase. -

Oh, the perils of dating a total hottie, hehehe. I'd be worried too if I was Tristan, Jimmy Jukebox is a real cutie too. But it was really fun to see Jesse have his own little 'fanboy' moment. I gotta wonder if Tristan is slowly working up to make his big announcement. I guess we'll find out, hopefully soon. -
What? Robin wasn't able to change AJ, and he just got used and dumped again? 😱 I'm so surprised!!! Joking aside, though, I wonder what he was thinking when he said that. I mean, he knows Billy's not available, so why is he doing this? I really want to like Robin, but I just can't trust him right now, not after he traded in his self-respect for a bit of naughty time with AJ. As for Jimmy, I think he's just trying to get attention. I feel bad for him a little bit when all he wants is for Billy to give him the slightest bit of importance, but he brought this on himself, so whatever. Billy was his friend, he would've been there for him any time, but Jimmy had to throw it all away to selfishly try to keep him to himself. The fact that he'd rather have Billy be miserable with him than happy with someone else tells me that he doesn't really love him after all. I don't get why Billy doesn't just block him and be done with it.

I love this story, it's so much fun to read. "OMIGOD, Chris Margo is leaving his 'ass prints' on my couch! This is so HOT!" I'm looking forward to the next one. 😆

I thought that was because Clint was on the Board. It's still abuse of power on his part, though. I wouldn't be surprised if Nico got another talking to about his mishandling of the situation. Now one thing that stood out to me is that not only did Joe out Josh to Gavin, but the way he said it also hinted at the nature of what Josh really does for a living. Joe really needs to shut up before he tells all of Josh's secrets. Every time he tries to fix things he ends up making them worse. As for Josh, based on his note I would say he made the right decision in a way, but it will lead to a lot of bad decisions since he'll probably throw himself into "work" to take his mind off things. And that will probably lead to Gavin finding out about the whole 'Jack' thing, which is what he wants to avoid.
-
I must say, I don't really trust people who say they'll "behave themselves" so they get to see someone they don't get along with, and I don't think Sam will be able to keep that promise. Between that and the Jimmy disaster just waiting to happen, I think this party will be a memorable one for Mr. THE Billy Chase. I hope he manages to not back down and ask Brandon about coming out, and respects his decision. Loved it, Com!

I can't see this going anything but badly. The Jeweler isn't stupid, he had to know what would happen if he hurt Taryn. So why would he do that unless he has a plan? And his plan better include lots of guards and defences, because I wouldn't be surprised if this little outburst got picked up by Rage, and that's the last thing Justin needs right now. Looking forward to the next chapter.

This looks like the calm before the storm. At least it looks like Billy will be able to patch things up with his mom. I wish I could believe Sam only wants to get closure with Joanna, but somehow I don't think that's all there is to it. And Brandon, well I don't think he's ready to come out in public yet, but he could still surprise me. One thing they should consider is coming out on their terms while they still can, because I wouldn't put it past Jimmy to do it for them. Speaking of Jimmy, I'm not sure what to make of his little outburst. I'm not sure if he's doing it to be an asshole, or because he's desperate for any attention from Billy. Either way, I think ignoring him is the best thing to do right now. Another great chapter, can't wait for more.

I think it also has to do with his upbringing. I get the sense that Loz was raised with the idea that being dominant and in control of a relationship is a desirable trait, and he doesn't understand why his advances are being rejected.
-
Wow, Loz made some progress, but he's still delusional. Maybe he's starting to figure out that you can't force someone into loving you. I'm feeling a tiny bit sympathetic towards him now that it looks like he might be redeeming himself, but that still doesn't excuse what he did. I'm hoping that Loz can realise he blew his chances with Daniel and move on. But really? "I don't understand why Daniel likes the guy who's nice to him instead of the guy who rapes him in the school showers?" Come on, he's smarter than that. Michael and Daniel must be really confused by this, it doesn't fit with Loz's behaviour towards Daniel until now. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Chapter 108 A Spiritual Guide
Shadow086 commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 108 A Spiritual Guide
Of course Robbie didn't follow Nicola's advice and made things harder for himself again. He has to learn the hard way, doesn't he? I just cannot wait for Don's scheming to backfire. In other news, this chapter gave me the impression that Robbie and Nathan may get back together, because there's clearly still a connection between them. -
Wow, that really explains Daniel's acceptance of what Loz has been doing to him. At least he has Michael now. And speaking of Loz, I can't imagine he'll be too pleased by this turn of events, but blue balls him. I wonder if Daniel will tell his new boyfriend (yay!) about the Monday "meetings" or if he'll catch them in the act. I'm looking forward to it.
-
Well that was stupid of Patrick and his cronies. 😄 Now let's just hope Michael can act on it without betraying Daniel's trust. That's going to be the most difficult part. Then there's that photo. I think things are going to get worse before they get better. I'm looking forward to seeing what the morning brings.
-
If it's not one thing, it's another. The way life keeps getting between Billy and Brandon is almost comical, but I'm glad he took the time to go help Trace. And I liked seeing how Billy's trying to help Trace made him see a better way to deal with his own problems. Great chapter, Com, now I'm afraid to see what the next problem will be. I feel like Billy is trying to juggle more situations than he can handle.
-
Great chapter, although you have me worried about the party now that the two chapters of reprieve are over. It doesn't look like things will go well for Daniel, unfortunately. Oh, and I'm starting to really dislike Jason, since his behaviour isn't due to peer pressure like I originally thought. Julie should just let it go, there's no helping those who don't want to be helped.
-
It's so nice to see Daniel and Michael slowly opening up to each other. I hope they can keep this momentum going, because this is exactly what Daniel needs right now. I can't help but see the dark clouds on the horizon, though, and I think I have an idea of where this is going.
-
Maybe the intent wasn't to out Daniel, but the end result is the same: Daniel will now be the target of homophobic bullying. And why, just because he's not Loz's property and talked to Michael anyway? I can see where Loz gets his behaviour from, but it's still gross and inexcusable. As far as Michael and Mr. Griffiths go, I think they're going to start figuring it out on their own, even if Daniel doesn't say anything. Both of them seem to know that something isn't right.
-
I know it's an unfair question, but what does Daniel have to lose by telling Michael or anyone else? I mean, Loz practically outed him to the entire school, and the bullying is going to escalate whether he keeps quiet or not, so the logical step to me would be to tell someone and get help. Loz needs to be stopped before he does more damage in his attempt to coerce Daniel into becoming his boyfriend, because that's what he's really trying to do here. Also, didn't anyone notice whose scarf Daniel was wearing? I really think Michael is reaching the end of his patience and he's about to try to find out who's behind this himself. And hopefully Griffiths noticed Loz doubling back to the locker room as frequently as he did and can put two and two together.

I don't have a shred of sympathy for people like Loz, and he deserves whatever is coming his way. Doing all that, and still not taking responsibility for any of it, and blaming Daniel for "making him queer" on top of it, that's just disgusting. I can't wait for Michael to find out about this and put a stop to it, especially now that Loz knows where Daniel lives. Who knows what he's going to do with this information? I'm really curious about that conversation with the coach, though, that mention of Loz being a bully was a bit odd. I think the coach suspects something's going on between Loz and Daniel, and he's trying to get the parents involved.

Chapter 107 The Laundry Game
Shadow086 commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 107 The Laundry Game
I'm going to take a wild guess and say that Robbie is jumping to conclusions about Nathan and Alex. Alex is a jerk, but I doubt even he would go stoop so low. What I think happened was that Nathan and Alex had a fling before Robbie came along, and when Nathan got bored he tried to hook up with Alex, but Alex kept making excuses to put him off. Either that or he was talking to someone else and Tom misheard the name as "Nathan". I'm glad Walter will step in and help Robbie get his life back on track, and I'm also glad that Mr. Andrews saw through Don's facade and is trying to get Robbie some real help. I'm calling this now: Robbie forgets about the cigarettes and Sue finds them while cleaning his room or trying to put his laundry away.- 56 comments

Agreed. The timing of Skyler's return and Cory's cancer diagnosis is a really big coincidence.
