I agree with James, 👿, Sue needs to have an independent auditor look at Robbie’s Trust. I also think that Don needs to publicly give Robbie his back allowance, maybe in from of the local political mafia.

Bill, excellent chapter! I can’t wait until Mac and Devyn are together in the next chapter. It was a bit of a tease to have Devyn show up but not be able to stay for a bit, but the Shaman was right if they were seen it would definitely cause unwanted attention.

Another interesting thought would be could the evil Skinwalkers mistaken for Bigfoot? It was interesting how the Haatali and his son are basically doing to same thing that Isaac and his family are doing to protect their secret.

I had the opportunity to visit the town of Kayenta in Northeastern Arizona when I was a teenager. This town is in the Navajo Nation and acted as a cultural center for the territory. I remember I was shocked at the lack of respect that the non Native Americans showed to these people. Their culture as rich and I learned a lot from our guide who took us out to tour that part of the reservation. Bill, this chapter brought back those memories and I thank you for that. I loved visiting that area of the country and learning about the Navajo culture.

Again, thank you for the history lesson as well as the talk in wildlife anatomy. I remembered about the Navajo Code Talkers from my High School American History class. We actually had a guest speaker come in a talk about his interactions with the Navajo soldiers during WW2. It was very interesting how even though these soldiers helped win the war against Japan it took almost 40 years for their contribution to be acknowledged by the US Government. If you have not watched the movie Windtalkers, I highly recommend it.

Personally I think it was sweet that Sue and Robbie had a moment. It was about time he started to treat her like the mother he needs. As for Nathan’s news I really hope that Robbie is wrong about his feeling that his relationship with Nathan is just a High School Romance.

While using deception was the only way to get Mac’s parents to agree to the “summer plans”, I feel that using Barry as the main reason is going to bite them in the future. My hope is that everything goes well during the training and the boys don’t get into trouble. Thanks for the great story.

The chapter hasn’t been up for more than 8 hours and you have all these great comments. I agree with what most people have mentioned above about Devin not keeping up with his studies and how that might affect him in the coming weeks, playing catch-up sucks. I am a bit upset that you ended this chapter in a major cliffhanger and now I have to wait another week to get the answer of how Devin caught the a$$h0le.

I was reading through my feed this morning and ran across this nugget about how CNN received their information about the Trump’s arraignment from yesterday. Maybe you would be able to use this somewhere when you start writing about the Summer of 2023. Here is what caught my attention. All of the points listed above are valid, but my fear is that Devon is using his ability too often and might be developing a hero complex. If that is the case, Devon might get sloppy and campus security might believe that he is the Rapist. I hope my suspicions are wrong 😑, but it had to be put out there. I did enjoy the Valentines Day portion of the chapter.
