  1. tim is correct, there is a lot online about it.
  2. It is a skill … an art form https://www.pinterest.ca/pin/200902833354194922/ not a horror show.
  3. Week 2 of work from home starts tomorrow. Hang in there, everyone.
  4. Well, a stroke would do that .. you still have your Kentucky accent, boy?? The Yorkshire accent is old and has its roots in Norse and old English … so really, it's you doing 'things' to English.
  5. Flippin' eck, Wayne, no such thing as a light Yorkshire accent, but they normally speak slowly so, it's not so hard to understand, tha knows. Nowt to be afraid of, lad. Ta, for sharin'.
  6. you, too mollypop.. stay safe.. xo
  7. Today they said … do not see your friends, do not make play dates for your kids, do not shop after travelling to stock up … this is not social distancing. Do not go out unless you absolutely must for food or medicine. Order groceries if you can. Eleven new cases in Toronto today, not related to travel, no idea where these people caught this. Wash your hands, all the time. Be careful out there.

    Bad Timing

Oh boy … hope you get over that quickly. That doesn't sound pleasant.
  9. I dislike these kind of people. Lying through his teeth because he is too lazy to phone. So, let me go online and brow beat someone. I'm not too good at jumping… a stray foot may hit something tender and important.
  10. Remembered I needed meds refilling. tim said call them they don't want you there. I was going to drive over, but, called. Don't come here, see your pharmacist and he will fax us. I went, he did, pick up tomorrow. Wow. tim's work gave 75000 staff members 5 more personal days each, on top of the usual ten. Plus 3 months of the medical app the insurance offers at ten dollars a month. That was a nice surprise.
  11. tim is safe at home, working. We are both need out. Hopefully a walk at the very least tomorrow.
  12. You are not whiny. And know you are with friends here. It is a difficult time, say what you need to.

    Today

Excellent work. I think many people will relate to this. Ours is a world of unknown right now. Ontario and Alberta declaring states of emergency. We need to hold on to the small things … work, each other, our friends and neighbours. We need to stay home, but we need to remember others also. Call them … talk online, text, email. For a little while our world will be smaller than normal.
  14. I'm the news was good, sorry about the headache.
  15. I saw none yesterday. I managed to get some of the meat I went out for. But there was very little on the shelves … zero TP and the pasta aisle was bare. We have enough on hand ourselves. Never seen the like before.
  16. Yeah, Mr. and Mrs We're Hustlers … horrible people. I get making a profit … but gouging your friends and neighbours? Taking advantage of their fear and worry.
  17. That affects your bottom line too … sorry about that, Kitt. People are nervous
  18. Him and others like him deserve what they get. People like these disgust me.
  19. It isn't nice, but it's the best thing to do. And I hope they do tell you to work from home. You and I are both compromised persons, and you should be here. I know it's not what you want … but I want you safe. And out there, though the risk is low … there is still a risk.

    Virus

You bring us truth, and visions of ourselves we should look at and … well, change. People are hurting each other, more than this virus likely would. Businesses closed by foolish rumour, greedy people making money on the backs of others, oh.. I don't need to say more. Thanks for this.
  21. Spoke to Peter today .. he going to get some dry soups, gingerale and a few things to keep in, in case he needs to self isolate. I said you should have them anyway … how often have you been ill and then need to go out to get supplies.. keep them in.
  22. he mixed, weighed and pressed 24 burger in about 30 minutes. … the killer sauce is available online .. it was good. I'm okay, thanks. Hope you and the family are also. Good night all.
  23. tim made a killer spaghetti sauce in the pot the other day … I think he's keeping that recipe. he also made 24, 4oz burger patties to freeze. he weighs the meat and the tosses it in the burger press.. then freezes .. makes life much easier. Especially, since I'm home first so the dreaded cooking falls to me often.
