    Doctors are gov't employees basically, though they can charge extra for forms etc. Nothing online or by phone here. You go in, so they can bill you for every single little thing. Bloody annoying.

    It's beyond clear how our system works. We are the cash cows...$150 for him to fill in not even a full page of an insurance form. $50 for work note, if we're lucky. Why people think it is 'free' I don't know. Last time tim had surgery it cost us about $2,000 with forms, lost time at work and other crap. Plus the taxes we pay … not remotely free, or efficient or quick.

    It's annoying. However, I'll take him back on Monday and get it sorted out.

    I like the idea of a workbook. Showing your work.. corrections and your thoughts, I think is brilliant. you've never been afraid to say you're wrong or afraid of criticism. That makes you open to learning. These are all wonderful. I love the snow on the pines and the red of the cardinals. And the second is brilliant.. perfection is only ever, fleeting. I look forward to seeing your work going forward, boy.

    Well. tim said to me, Michael You need to see Mac Sir's poem. Well, he's right. This is wonderful. Alive and as tim has said, tells us how grounded most of us are. Super .. and it's good to see you writing. You're an excellent poet, Mac.

    Thanks, he'll be okay. he's feeling low, being overly hard on himself. But frankly he's done the right thing today. There are times the mind needs quiet and he's done that. He's off to bed early and we'll see in the morning. he spoke to his shrink today... we are all on standby here.

    So! This was worth the wait. Worth watching you write, watching you grumble as you looked things up, I see what you go through to bring Don and Louis alive. I saw tears also and I am privy as to why. you write beautifully and with much thought and care. This will be an emotional journey for Don and Louis and for those of us who read their story. Excellent beginning, boy.
