    I'd have to agree. There are likely huge egos here, well I know there are, but the vast majority of authors I've met, just want to create. I'm sure most of them, like you, work very hard. Your work is offered at no cost to others, so a like or a thank you, I don't believe is asking too much, nor is it vain.

    That's exactly right. That dog used to drive me nuts when he was a puppy. My mom got him because she thought I was lonely. Hell, this was before tim, I wasn't exactly celibate. I was a cop, I worked shifts, I had a few boys on the go (she didn't know that) and then she gives me a puppy!! Christ. LOL Luckily I had a couple of friends who helped out.

    Without trust there can be no relationship. Doing that, forcing people into fetish behavior, against their will is unforgivable. You know what I am, A. The thought of doing anything like it is sickening. You portrayed this well. I hope Eric will one day be able to trust again.

    It is easy to say, screw you. And it's important to repeat yourself here, Thorn, but more important in the wider community. I've started to visit a local gathering for LGBQT youth near my work place. I have lunch there sometimes, talk to the kids. As an ex-cop I know the value of community policing, well it works unofficially also. We talk about sex, gender, feelings, some know what I do for a living now, so some want to discuss fetishes and a lot of other things. I'm hoping we can expand and get others in to talk to the kids. It's an open and accepting place. If you have local community groups you can talk to...I recommend it.

    Oh, writing Tanka, following AC's new Guide.. Here they are good or bad. Walking through the snow it squeaks under my black boots; I tighten my coat however when I reach you there's no coolness in your arms Snow tops the feeder before I add fresh birdseed; the brave nuthatch waits unconcerned about my size; sure of his heroic heart
