Your whole review was excellent but it was your observations about Nisa that really resonated with me-She is insane in her obsession with Kastan and I don’t believe she will go willingly into marriage with someone else. Nisa’s death is coming....either through her machinations with the empress or from her own plotting but she will never live or let Kastan and his family live peacefully. I, for one, can’t wait.

Chapter 9 - Taking a step back
FanLit commented on Mrsgnomie's story chapter in Chapter 9 - Taking a step back
A progressive chapter of growth for Nash. There will be steps forward and backward on his journey to bachelorhood but he’s very aware of the boundaries he needs to keep in his relationships with Penn and Lee. If/when anything jumps off between he and Penn, it’s important to him that it has to be after the official end of his marriage (not that he thinks anything could happen between them, lol). Nash also wants nothing to do with being a side piece in Penn’s marriage either, no matter how irregular said marriage looks. There is something narcissistic about Lee, a disconnect in acknowledging or feeling any empathy for anything he’s done to Nash and their relationship (did he REALLY need to have it explained to him that he had to earn the right to touch Nash again?!?!) I wonder if he genuinely loved Nash or if he loved how much Nash loved him? Nash cutting his hair after Lee touched it and liked it was an act of empowerment that shows he’s definitely moving on. It was good to see a mature conversation between Nash and Shayla, I think it helped the both of them. I hope Nash has a great vacation and that he doesn’t come back to any crap pulled by the two Anuses. (Interesting that their “relationship” seems to be over now that it’s out there....Or is it?)- 46 comments

Funny, I thought the books would all be part of this story, it didn’t occur to me there would be a “complete” on this story yet, lol. I thank you for leaving everyone alive (at least physically). While David and TC faced what we knew about them from chapter one, I must admit to some confusion on David’s reaction; Both are Doms and David was willing to subjugate himself to TC’s will for a while, why would being in love with your best friend make you want to run away? I thought that was the ideal. Is it that David submitted in a way he never thought he could with TC or anyone else? Is David having an identity crisis? Or does he feel emotionally raped by TC? This ending was very sad but as I mentioned before, David and TC have a very strong emotional connection, I believe something can be worked out, although I also think there has to be some bending on TC’s part as well. I look forward to where you lead these two with the next book. Blessed safety to you and your loved ones. 🙏

Chapter 8 - Going Commando
FanLit commented on Mrsgnomie's story chapter in Chapter 8 - Going Commando
But I knew there was a real chance I wouldn’t experience love again and that made me sad. **** Penn and I stopped making plans. He just showed up at the cottage everyday and we did life together. It was nice. It helped me feel normal. Nash, Nash, Nash. Smh. A nice chapter of Nash adjusting to his new normal (which includes a lot of Penn). I don’t know what to think of his and Cam’s marriage but if they are split or separated, it seems amicable. For all his going on about telling each other everything, there is something going on in Penn’s life that he isn’t sharing with Nash; His brothers know what it is, too-would they treat Nash and Penn like a couple if Penn were happily married? Listening to slut, I mean Lee, whine about him and his boo made me realize another appointment Nash needs to make: to get tested for std’s, unless that’s part of his racing requirements and he knows he’s clean.- 49 comments

“Well, only one more chapter left in this part. I'm still looking for the cliffhanger I seemed to have misplaced.“ Grrr. That cliffie better have everyone physically whole. (And alive!!) TC proved invaluable to David again; David can handle himself and doesn’t need someone to take care of him but it’s oh so nice to have someone around who wants to (and does so quite efficiently too). For all that is made of TC’s Super Dom, all the things he’s done for David are things that any caring significant other would do. David isn’t used to being on the receiving end of caretaking and that has his Dom bristling a bit. I look forward to them all being in the same state and much closer to each other. I also harbor curious anticipation to the assessment David and TC will do of their relationship and where it will take them.

Chapter 7 - Dear Future Husband

Chapter 7 - Dear Future Husband
FanLit commented on Mrsgnomie's story chapter in Chapter 7 - Dear Future Husband
“....I was standing in the room looking for a pair of underwear when I heard the deepest voice ever. It was like sand and gravel covered in dark molasses. I always enjoyed his voice; it was rich and meaningful but his morning voice—wowee. I don’t think words ever sounded so delicious.“ “....You say it like it’s a bad thing. You better keep talking.” I abandoned the search for clothes for the chance to savor the last fleeting moments of Mr. Morningvoice.” “....Penn laughed, which was also incredibly sexy in the morning, then rolled on his stomach and buried his face in the pillow.“ So in rereading this chapter (because I like it so much, tee hee) this exchange jumped out at me: was Nash naked listening to Penn’s sexy morning voice and did Penn react to Nash’s nakedness?!?! 😮 🤞🍆 -
Chapter 7 - Dear Future Husband
FanLit commented on Mrsgnomie's story chapter in Chapter 7 - Dear Future Husband
❤️ Great chapter. Exactly all that needed to happen. What world do Lee and Paul live in that they thought this could stay quiet and what the fuck is up with Paul, period? It seems like more than spoiled, entitled behavior but then again, that’s enough. (I didn’t know he was married?!?!) I wish Nash had split up his and Lee’s bank account but his thinking might be, he doesn’t have the most money in it so no biggie. “A problem shared is a problem halved”. Whew 💨 I’m so grateful for Nash’s new support system, which is 1,000 times better than his old one. Is this it now? Can Nash start to heal or will Lee show him who he truly is? (Please, if there’s a fight, Nash needs to whoop some ass 💪) Even if there is more to come (😳) this chapter made me very happy.- 36 comments

In this world, there’s only one “Nan”. Grandma Lily seems more elegant than Nan so I think another name would fit.

The Tracy reveal is going to be big. I can’t imagine any way that will go down well with Blu. Btw....did I miss how Jonathan is Blu’s bio son when he didn’t have sex with a woman?

You saw what Ma said but I high five you for the effort, lol. (Well, high ten) 🙌

Chapter 6 - Little Bit More Than Friends
FanLit commented on Jordn87's story chapter in Chapter 6 - Little Bit More Than Friends
“Once and for all their beautiful town will be fag free or they would die trying.” “The idea of their faith living on for many more years excited both men. They just might have to find a choir or church boy to enjoy themselves when they got back.” Do they want to kill Nessay because they are jealous he can own up to his homosexuality....because what exactly would they be doing with a choir or church boy, play Uno?!?! It’s been a while since I read this, nice to revisit. -
There isn’t a pouty lip emoji but that’s what I’d put here, lol.

The Empress’s childhood no longer holds as an excuse, she is Empress and instead of shoring up her husband and “their” court, she consistently undermines him and keep things divided. (Even though I’m no big fan of Kiyan) Her father’s death in her stead for her perfidy wasn’t enough? Soon her actions will be such that it won’t matter that she is empress and mother of the next ruler; She has met her match in Jihan. The only satisfaction I will have for Renai Countess if she chooses to do the Empress’s bidding is her falling of one of the cliffs at Silver Shore. It took me about 36 hours off and on to binge read this story so I am now caught up and ready for more, 🙂. lilansui has a wonderful hand creating chemistry between her couples and their family and friends as well.

Do you have a medical background? I don’t remember if you previously mentioned it but you are quite proficiently detailed when it involves the aftermath and aftercare involved when you put one of your characters in peril; All the questions I would have had as a parent and reader were covered; If you aren’t, you have excellent research skills. The cohesion of the five dealing with their individual and joint concern over Lyssa was wonderful to witness; I shudder to think how much harder attitudes and disharmony would have made this on everyone. David and TC do have some things to iron out in their relationship, both consciously and subconsciously....that doesn’t negate how absolutely instrumental TC’s support is for David right now. (I’m still trying to decipher the approval TC gave of David’s meal choice at the sports bar-was that just TC being TC, where he would be extra alpha in a time of crisis?) Even though Lyssa was the victim of the accident, the road to recovery will be long for everyone, as they were all wounded in their own way by this and will be focused on being the best support system for Lyssa going forward. (I hate thinking of Lyssa’s reaction to Emily’s death ☹️) While I was reading about the family’s visitation to Lyssa, my thought went to how were they allowed in two at a time and where were their PPE, forgetting you probably wrote this story long before the world changed, lol. Thank you for the welcome distraction a good read provides and please stay safe. 🙏

Chapter 6 - Trying to Cope
FanLit commented on Mrsgnomie's story chapter in Chapter 6 - Trying to Cope
“Penn took a bite of Pho and sucked the noodles down. “But there are more important things happening here. The job has always been an escape; my excuse to run away. I’ve done it for so long that it’s all I know. I decided it was time to change my investments.” ....”Sounds like I’ve been making the wrong investments,” I murmured. Penn looked at me questioningly but I pushed forward. “What kind of changes are you making?” “Hmm, mostly where I’m spending my time and who I’m spending it with.” Naive Nash. Naive, sweet Nash. I guess it’s hard to recognize you’re an investment when you feel like shit. I’m so glad he told Penn what was going on, I still don’t get Lee’s game and what the fuck does Paul have a right to be pissed at Nash about?!?! He’s been fucking Nash’s slut husband (be careful Paul, what some one does with you, they’ll do to you; then again you deserve whatever your jealous, vengeful ass gets-if you sleep with dogs, you’ll wake up with fleas) and won because Nash is out of the picture, hurt and humiliated....unless that’s not all he plans to do. Nash explaining why he’s doing the lunch and counseling with Lee makes sense from his perspective; At the same time, Lee isn’t owning accountability for anything he’s done and Nash doesn’t deserve the torture of keeping up appearances. Lee is the big breadwinner, how bad will things go for him to look like a hoe, even in their small town? I don’t think Lee was ever who Nash thought he was (“I never liked Lee. I didn’t like him when we were kids and I don’t like him as an adult.”) we all know love is blind. Now that Penn knows, things are going to be different. I just wish the other shoe of crap to be thrown at Nash will drop already. I wish you posted daily....twice daily. 😊- 33 comments

Aww C’mon!! Lyssa?!?! You’re a meanie but a well written meanie. (That’s why I can only put that I read this, this development did not make me happy.) 😟 I love the interaction between the four adults, how TC and Mike respect Renee and David as co parents and friends and that David and Renee both appreciate their moving on with other people; Having grown, responsible Owen turn back into David’s little boy when he saw his father made something get into my eye (damn allergies) So....are David and TC the only ones not aware that they are in love with each other? Their emotional intimacy is such that they should hopefully be able to find a middle ground, as the D/s world for these two extend beyond sex. 🤞

Chapter 5 - The New House is No Home
FanLit commented on Mrsgnomie's story chapter in Chapter 5 - The New House is No Home
I suspect the Knotts brothers knew something about Lee and his extramarital activities or something else he’s been sneaky about; I’m thinking Lee is not quite the “nice”, “innocent,” “gentle” husband Nash thought he’s had all this time. I’m sure if the Knotts Bro’s and Co. got wind of the break up, they’d kidnap Nash and keep him in the bosom of their circle; Then again I’m afraid whatever Mrsgnomie has planned might alienate them from Nash, too. 😕.- 26 comments
