Hey - stupidly busy, but OK thanks. Only one week left of my planned-but-still-ridiculous two jobs at the same time phase. Things are obviously quiet here.
-
Hmmm, phase one - test run appears too be non-successful. Likely contributory factors; failure to reach critical mass; over-estimation of need; cat needing feeding. NB, cat may not be related, but is very demanding.

Hi Can there be a single place to track/organise/link to/or otherwise collate the current (structured) opportunities for engagement with GA? For example, today, there’s (at least) the Halloween writing competition open for judging, the 2018 novella contest, and the anthology theme voting all open, but it’s not ‘easy’ to know that, or find them all. Of course you can use the search box, but then, you’d have to already know they existed in order to search for them, and even then, it’s not massively intuitive to get to the ‘right’ post. I’m sure that all of these things have appeared on the front page previously, but quite understandably, they also ‘fall off’ relatively quickly and before the respective events are over. Sam Edit: I realise that every such new feature requires time and effort to implement, and for something like this, ongoing effort to maintain. I think I’m a relatively engaged user of GA, and I’d happily volunteer some time if I can help.

National Coming Out Day? There’s so many questions I have about that. But I don’t think it will take a whole year for Kay to get that far, not now that he’s started. -

I think “intense” is a good description of this experience. Personally, I’d be mortified. -
Not having any plans for my weekend, I walked in to town and browsed around the shops. Which was really half browsing, and half waiting to hear from Jake. Maybe not even half and half, probably closer to 95 percent waiting, 5 percent browsing. I tried on some clothes, new T-shirts, jeans, usual sort of things, but I didn't like any of them. After a couple of hours, and no contact from Jake, I decided to head home. I walked past the coffee shop, as usual, and looked through the window ju

You did say there would be drama.

That’s kind of manic!

I’m not entirely sure I’m reading this in the ‘right’ order - although I’m easily confused. Anyway, Ive st6arted here and this seems like a great introduction to Aeris and to a lesser extent John and Miriam.

Thanks for reading, and it’s awesome to hear that you enjoyed it so much. Feel free to write a review for other readers As for a sequel, you are not he first to mention ithis However, there’s no plan at the moment, but lots of other projects underway (another story being posted currently, another couple being finished, and a novella for the summer) so hopefully you’ll find something you like amongst those. Of course, as I’ve said before, never say never, I guess that there’s always a chance you might get another chance to enter the world of Cal and Davey.
-
Agreed. And also, whatever you do, don’t talk to Jared.
-
Thanks for the suggestion, I’ll have a look.
-
Don’t worry, there’s lots more on the way And I think that most of your questions will be answered, at least, eventually.

Hi I’ve had this problem for a couple of days now, but it’s unhelpfully intermittent. What it looks like is that pages don’t finish loading, for example, not all the text is visible, or links don’t work. This seems to be related to the fact that the ads don’t load on that page, but refreshing doesn’t help. Usually I just have to wait for a few minutes and try again, but it’s very annoying. I’m using iOS and Safari, no adblocking or anything weird, and this only seems to happen if I’m logged in. Any help appreciated. Sam

Aaarrgghhh! Will one you you PLEASE do something!? I can’t stand this for another chapter! And no, I absolutely do not mean Jared. He’s clearly the wrong choice. Oh, I really hope I haven’t just imagined how this goes horribly wrong.
-
@ObicanDecko I hope that’s more fun that it sounds @Onim Yes, it’s amazing what we can talk ourselves out of sometimes. I was going to say something trite like ‘let’s hope Kay manages to carry on’ but then I remembered that I actually already know what happens @Benji I’ve always imagined that Jake was pretty relaxed about the whole thing, at least, far mor than Kay was. @deville I’m very happy that I’ve been able to elicit such feelings. Thanks for reading and please stay around for more.
-
I gues that’s kind of the idea - to get to know them And I definitely wanted Kay to have a good experience telling his family, too often it doesn’t go so smoothly for people.
-
Happy to see you still here And I like your coming out story, you should use that somewhere.
-
Thanks - hopefully things will be come clearer as we get further on.
