I gotta say there's something very sinister about Owen's mom being so excited while planning an engagement party for her eighteen-year-old son.... And the whole town knowing about it and acting psychotic. *shudders* I have a feeling Owen won't ditch the party for Ryder. Ugh. Or, he'll have a breakdown during (I hope!). I don't think Ryder will make a decision for Owen. Owen gotta say NO to the whole engagement thing, the funeral house, his controlling parents and Margot.

Poor Owen. I really feel bad for him, but God, he needs to stop "forgetting" to tell Ryder about the important stuff lol. And Ryder is becoming a little unhinged. He met Owen two weeks ago and he's acting like he's been Owen's secret for years.

Poor Ryder 😭 😭 😭 he was a just a kid! I knew he got involved with someone terrible... Gosh, they kissed! A part of me hoped they'd just elope together on Ryder's bike lol. But first Owen gotta come clean to his family, and he needs to have a serious talk with Margot. I have a feeling if Owen and Ryder's relationship got discovered, Margot wouldn't take his side... I just hope she'll grow a spine soon!

We don't actually know WHY Ryder served time; he could be innocent! The person who ghosted him probably had something to do with it or Ryder took the fall because he was in love with them 😭

I need Ryder and Jules to team up to ruin Owen and Margot's mascarade lol

oh wow I remember reading this more than 10 years ago when I was in high school. I'm defenitely going to enjoy rereading it!

I remember this story, glad it's posted again. Also, you're back! I hope you're doing well :).

And finally, Fran et Ed met once again. I was afraid it would take a while before they found each other, but I was pleasantly surprised they reunited now rather than further into the story.

Good grief, these two are making me squeal in delight. I can't WAIT for more developing feelings and intimate moments in the midst of a zombie apocalypse haha

This is my favorite chapter so far. I'm glad Wayne and Mark's relationship seems to be gradually developing into something 'new' 🙂
