  1. @Maxxximus: Thanks for reading!
  2. Back in Tygrus... It felt like a jolt to the system. I had a vision, taking me back to the room where I was healed by the golden-eyed descendant. It was brief, I regained consciousness in time to see him being taken away by the soldiers who conspired to restore me by illegal means. The scandal behind my rebirth laid before me. Barken was likely viewing the same scene. In the present moment with Rosco and Gage conversing with one another. Rosco found me looking over and put a pause
  3. @JeffreyL Thank you for reading :D!!
  4. Thank you AC Benus !! It's nice to put my grief into words and to be able to express it in a way that I can share with others. Nice to hear from you :D!
  5. The flowers that grew on top the tree stump Were a peculiar sight for me to see How do the plants of this amorphous lump Come to defy what they were meant to be? The loss of the strong trunk that once stood tall Withering of leaves on fragile branches It’s weight became too hard for it to bear And what was once sky high would come to fall Life in theory holds no second chances But the flowers on the stump chose to dare You see these flowers contain s
  6. Ronnie's interaction with his father in this chapter was written very naturally and with warmth. Nicely done chapter.
  7. Hmm, it does seem like romance might be in the air for those two, like @Buz suggests :o.. Superhero romance!!

    Chapter 9: Revolt

@NoSkis, you happen to have picked up a theme I wanted to explore in this story! The relationship descendants and neku have with each other are analogous to the relationship ruling classes have over the "proletariat," how its always complex, and relies on complacency and misinformation. If you're picking up on the theme, then I'm glad I'm writing it well!
  9. Thank you for reading @NoSkis!! I've been doing my best to keep writing, glad you're enjoying.
  10. Coming back to Tygrus proved as troubling as expected. It was my punishment, to face the soldiers I failed during their roll call a few days back. Their minds were still fresh with memories of their fallen comrade, on-edge and furious at the presence of the Princess of Deko who not only almost got herself killed, but allowed for the death of one of their own. My quick recovery didn’t seem to be questioned by anyone, the reasoning assumed to be a result of my lineage. It saved me the trouble of e

    Bi the Way...

I think my purpose for writing the conversation between the narrator and Loren is to dispel whatever stereotype the narrator might have about bisexual people. Later, Loren lets us know her perspective about the affair the narrator is having with Lex and is much more direct with him!

    Foolish

Thank you for complimenting my writing ! Hopefully the next chapter/s will give you a better explanation for why the narrator chooses to remain with Lex.

Thank you @Talo Segura! I'm glad you enjoyed the start to this story :D! Hopefully you enjoy the rest.
  15. Oh wow, this is only part 1? Alrighty, I guess we'll see what is up ahead. Good start to the series!
  16. Seeing how Luno, Tobias, and Mother interact with each other was fun. Also cool to see Luno using his powers for good!
  17. Cute chapter haha. Cool to see them have a mission on their hands.
  18. As mentioned previously, this is a well written story! It's nicely paced, the dialogue and characters are realistic. Great start, I'm excited to see where this goes and commend you on your writing :).
  19. My time in Orion was informative. Bebe and Zuri would admit to not having seen the golden-eyed descendant named Barken for sometime after his capture and eventual release. When they inquired what happened to him during his disappearance, I was hesitant to give them details lest destroying what limited trust I have from them now. I shared that he aided in my healing, though it was not of his choosing. “By force,” Zuri said plainly. “Did you orchestrate it?” I said quickly, “No. I guess yo
  20. Aww :). Nice to read fun poetry about dads in a complimentary way. Thank you for this!
  21. Thank you @Etotsira! I can see to the end of the tunnel with this story despite how difficult its been to write it. Not accounting for any unexpected life hiccups, I should be posting a bit more consistently.
  22. My pleasure! I'm glad you're enjoying and taking the time to read! The next chapter might be as heavily detailed, if not more, but let me know if it comes off as confusing in any way :). Admittedly, the two have a great deal ahead of them as far as where I'm taking the story 😖!!
  23. Aww, I'm glad to hear :). Sorry that work has been tough. Its kind of a nice thing about websites like this, we get to support each others crafts and lift each other's spirits ^_^!
  24. Ahh, fair enough! Way to look back and make what were probably major improvements to your story. Cool!
  25. Wow! What a dramatic and welcomed change in tone. Very intense and sad scene from the past. Well done!
