This is exactly where my thinking went. I doubt if Ivor was channeling Larry Hagman, though, to whom that idea was credited. Like a couple others, I was ignorant about the nature of a courgette, only to learn that I always have one or two in my refrigerator - strictly for culinary purposes, of course.
