  1. One could become paranoid about eating ...
  2. Yeah, I feel that way sometimes too, but be assured you're very easy to tolerate
  3. I think you're both right, although "immune" may not be the correct term; "ignored" may be more to the point. I think editing a chapter resets the post time for the chapter to "now". I had a similar experience once, being accused rudely and incorrectly of setting a chapter to start before the story when I had set neither, complicated by arbitrary future post times being set automatically when I was still in purgatory. My suggestions that there might be programmatic issues fell on deaf ears. So much for twenty years of programming and testing experience. Now I'll go have breakfast and see if my attitude improves.

    MS19 - The Ring

Very creative. This could be the starting point for a truly unending story. Adapted for TV, it could become the serial to end all serials.
  5. Editor's note: Someone's new avatar is using a pronoun without an antecedent.

    Chapter 40

So, it's going to be a struggle to wait until the updated versions com out.
  7. I love the alligator! It takes a flight of fancy to match an idea to the form.
  8. Backwoods Boy

    Chapter 39

Like life, the story continues to be unpredictable, making it all the more interesting.

    Chapter 38

Loved the wedding, honeymoon, and New Year's blizzard, all unique and suited to the participants.
  10. ... appears to be part Vulcan ...
  11. ... gives new meaning to "leave no stone unturned" ...

    Chapter 37

This was a beautiful chapter. I needed a box of tissues. 😊
  13. @Reader1810 @mollyhousemouse Up early, but still late for the party. Hope you both have a good day
  14. Sorry about the headache. I thought the dork look was fun, but it may just be my perverted sense of humor
  15. When I lived briefly in Montana, I learned that it has three seasons: Winter July August
  16. This was a pleasant surprise, tim. It made my Thursday evening much brighter. Thanks again for sharing your wonderful talent.
  17. The "HaHa'" is because I relate so well. Other than the "social worker" part, I fit that mold quite completely.

    Chapter 36

Excellent. It's good to see Michael dealt with permanently. Unless there's a Stargate-like sarcophagus lying around somewhere ...

    Chapter 21

It's nice to see Max getting his act together. I think he was overwhelmed with a disabled friend, but this letter makes up for that completely.
  20. Referring back a couple chapters to the over-zealous agency personnel, it's good to balance that thought with the "for profit" concept that Max had heard. I've seen the latter, and some of the profit came from what was essentially slave labor. The problem is real, or at least was in past years, and needs to be watched. Thanks for another great chapter. It was as exciting and emotional as always.
  21. I always enjoy it
  22. Very creative takeoff on this theme.
  23. Returning to the conversations about never-ending stories ...
