Thank you, Jeffrey! All the characters will evolve throughout the story, and more will be visible about each of them. How they will do that, I will let the story tell
I'm writing this story as a mystery, so the characters and their motivations will reveal themselves chapter by chapter. As those become clearer, I believe that you will be able to form a solid opinion of everyone. Thank you for reading and commenting!
Chapter One – Weird Day
“Thirty,” Mason said through his teeth as he forced his chin over the training bar for the last push.
His phone went off right at that moment. He had a mind to let it ring, but he did expect a call since he had been out of work. It could be sooner rather than later, as the bills piling on his desk in orderly fashion were trying to tell him. He wasn’t the type to be picky, but his best friend had been pestering him that he would have something lined up for him, som
There is personal, and then, there’s stuff that’s not personal. Boundaries are good to have, and Mason Knight believes he knows the difference well, as he has known for a long time. That, until one weird day, he finds himself moved by music, jumped by a man who could make the heavens sigh with his looks, and … what else? Ah, a ghost suddenly wants to keep him company. Mason doesn’t believe in ghosts, except this guy, well, he seems pretty much real.
As someone whose parent left at a young age never to come back, I'm not sure whether it's a good thing or a bad thing if adults realize - no matter how late - that they have a responsibility in life to know and care for their children. You can't imagine what's going on with me when I'm writing certain things. Chuckling in front of the screen by myself surely isn't a sign of good mental health, lol!
I think that's a recurring theme in my stories, and that's because it's something I notice every day. People use social conventions and most often don't say what they think. That affects the communication that should happen in private, as well.
Chapter Seven – Out Of The Frying Pan And Into The Fire
Edward’s lips on his were something fierce. Usually, Adrian would have had no problem getting any bottom boy to behave and curb his aggressiveness, but Edward was having none of it. As Adrian had thought and desired, only earlier that night, Edward was a man, a strong man who had no qualms about fighting him, which was exactly what he hoped for.
His body slammed down on the sofa, and Edward straddled his chest, resting his knees aga
Thank you! I always have doubts when it comes to this word, and somehow I still manage to botch it. I don't exactly what wire in my head says that choke couldn't be the correct word, so I change it, lol! Edited now, and probably I will remember it from now on.
Glad you enjoyed the story! There are several others with the complete status, so feel free to make your choice! Thank you for the praise!
I'm so glad you've been here all the way! And if someone puts up with my characters' shenanigans and resists through the end, they're MVP in my book! Thanks a bunch!
