Denial is their middle name. But their resistance is bound to wear off at some point! I promise! And thanks a lot for reading and commenting!

    Hooked

It is often said that no one is a prophet in their own country (I have no idea if this saying exists in English, so that's just a mot-a-mot translation from my language), so it is easier for Michael to see what's happening with Heath, and vice versa. Thank you for your comment! (Also, no bunnies this time around? :))

I'm glad to provide the entertainment! Thank you for keeping up with the story!

Chapter Twenty-One – Hooked Heathcliff had to give it to Michael. The man had good advice, even if he was bad at following the same principles when he was personally involved. So, inviting him to have lunch and hang out at one of their favorite places was what he had in mind. “So, how are things in your corner of the universe?” Michael smiled the moment he sat across from him. “Hey, your advice worked, so all is well. The bunny is yet to be stuck inside a cage and roams freely. I hop
  5. That may happen, but it will surely take some time. Thank you for liking the story!
  6. Honesty is good in small doses with some people, lol! But it does matter, too, who gives whom what! Thanks a lot for keeping up with the story!
  7. That's well said! Aidan thinks he's so well protected ...
  8. And thank you for accepting my messy characters into your life!
  9. Ah, I couldn't have said it better! It must be true what they say, about people tending to be their own worst enemies, and that might just be little bunny's case! Thank you for your reaction, it really brought a smile on my face!
  10. I know! Isn't it?
  11. Thank you, Dave! It was a blast writing it, too!
  12. Chapter Twenty - Keeping It Real What would they talk about? Aidan was dragging his feet a little as he walked from the car to the door. He knocked and waited patiently. In the silence of the evening, he could almost hear his heart beating fast. Nervously, he wiped his palms and smoothed down his suit in the process. He had a mind to turn on his heels and run away, no matter how childish that would look. Heathcliff opened the door, terminating his internal debate. Aidan had troubles look
  13. That's right! I didn't even realize it until you said it, lol!
  14. That's actually one of the angles I want to work on while writing this story (but let's not tell anyone else, lol). Everything you said, I've seen it happening, in my country, too, and it is so immoral what these companies are doing, that if I started, I wouldn't finish in three days. Also, a long list of ingredients - unless it's some weird French delicacy for which they boil eighteen types of vegetables only to keep the water and throw the rest (sorry, that's from a TV cooking show I watched a few years ago) - is actually a bad sign. Who needs so many preservatives in their foods? We will probably be better preserved than mummies in the future, only due to all the crap on the shelves.
  15. That's actually quite insightful Yes, someone who's feeling insecure by default cannot believe compliments easily. Aidan just believes that it's easy for Heathcliff to run compliments over his head, and he can't let himself believe them. Thank you for your comments!
  16. Please, don't slap Aidan! I had a good laugh, Wes!
  17. Ah, it would be nice, indeed. That's why I subject them to so much push and pull. They need to realize what's going on with themselves; if someone just told them, it wouldn't work. Thank you for your nice comment, Dave!
  18. Ah, you don't have to be worried with me ... It's always rainbows and unicorns, lol!
  19. Thank you for your praise! I can only hope that at the end of the story, you'll still think the same thing!
  20. Thank you for another awesome bunny gif! That's definitely Aidan, chilling in Heath's pool! And I'm glad you're liking my story so much!
  21. Aidan will start, slowly, to become more of the man he wants to be. As for Heath ... he'll learn a lot in the process, too. Thank you for commenting, Timmy!
  22. Chapter Nineteen – A Bit Of Trouble Aidan was in deep, deep trouble. What was he to do about Heathcliff’s direct confession? At least, he believed it to be a confession, and it wasn’t right to think it so. For some reason, Heathcliff continued his game of driving Aidan nuts and seemed utterly oblivious to how that made his bed partner of convenience feel. In all truth, he felt pretty damn good. Having Heathcliff tell him that he liked him was a remarkable achievement. It had to be, altho

    A Bit Of Fun

Ah, you see the situation quite clearly. I'm definitely glad you do, because Aidan has, indeed, his reasons to be on guard. I always try to put myself in my characters' shoes, and this felt natural for Aidan, from my point of view, so I'm happy someone else sees it, too Thank you for your comment!

And thank you for loving him! He's my little bundle of insecurities!
