    Chapter 21

Ah, it seems like I have a knack for leaving readers frustrated LOL I like how you said that Jake earned respect from Klaus. Yes, Jake could not have proved it better, and Klaus now knows for sure Jake had never been in for the money, not even a tiny bit. I didn't realize this could be seen like this, but your comment makes me really happy Just hang on for a little bit I hope, in the end, the good would outweigh the bad in my case, too, not only Klaus's :)) As for your thoughts on Diaz? All spot on!

Ah, so sorry about that ... And yeah, I know how that must feel

    Chapter 21

Thank you for cheering for the two guys! As for the game they play ... There will come a time for honesty, too. I promise!

    Chapter 21

I thought about people not knowing as much about MOBA games as I do, since it's not common knowledge, so I'm glad my explanations were helpful Don't worry about Jake, he will be ready

    Chapter 21

I really love this phrase! Pride is a cold and lonely place indeed. Not much of the story left, so you will see soon what will happen!

    Chapter 21

He, he, you will see next time

    Chapter 21

Ha, ha, I lol'ed so hard. Yes, that would pretty much be the parody version of what happened between these two. And Klaus needs a little to be made fun of. Even I, his doting mother, agree.

    Chapter 21

See, Wes? I knew you were going to like Hans, after all :)) And sorry about your hair

    Chapter 21

Chapter Twenty-One “There is someone here to see you, sir,” the butler announced him. “He doesn’t want to say his name, but he has been here before. A certain Mr. Lopez.” Klaus quirked an eyebrow. Not the Lopez brother he wanted to see, that was certain. It was late, Hans was already asleep, and he was just burning the midnight oil, for no apparent reason. “May I suggest something, sir?” the butler spoke again. “This visitor looks rather strange. Maybe I should send him on his way?”

    Chapter 20

And this is how you save me from a plot hole :)) Anyhow, Klaus could know where Jake is at any time, since he has that agent on the ground who does this kind of work for him. At this moment, he still believes that Jake is still at his brother's house and has no reason to think otherwise.

    Chapter 20

Thank you so much for that info, it's not that different in my country either Now the boys will have to spend a bit of time apart, and it would be hard for Jake to go to uni now anyway since he has to think of making it day by day first. So sorry about the shower LOL and thank you for being such a sweetheart. Hugs!

    Chapter 20

Find my phone app ... Gods, I feel old ... It's so easy to spy on someone today, isn't it? Well, the point is that Klaus is just bent on having Jake come back to him on his own volition, not because he is 'hunted down'. And sometimes, there is a phrase like that from a reader, like the one above that makes me wonder how do some readers manage to get in my head so well LOL

    Chapter 20

Well, Klaus isn't one to neglect his business, that one is sure. And I'm surprised that you're the first reader to mention that particular small detail. I believe I might disappoint you a little with what will follow, but I hope you will still enjoy the story till the end.

    Chapter 20

Hey, it was all bound to happen And Klaus needed a bit of a push to start 'feeling'. Thank you for all the appreciation! As for your question, you will just need to wait ans see I promise it will all be worth it. Hugs!

  21. Laura S. Fox

    Chapter 20

I was so sure you would say that! Well, it's the perfect occasion for Jake to see how the world would look like while being on his own.

    Chapter 20

Chapter Twenty “Is that you, little bro?” he heard his brother calling for him. “Yeah, it’s me,” Jake spoke. “I’ll make you something to eat.” “With your cooking, I might be dead by next week,” Diaz joked. Jake helped his brother up on to his good foot and then guided him to the kitchen table. At least he knew how to make scrambled eggs. “How come you didn’t go running back to that asshole?” Diaz asked as he ate. “I’m no longer collateral,” Jake spoke as he fiddled

    Chapter 19

Thanks! For reading all the 19 chapters so far without giving up.

    Chapter 19

Wow, such a heartfelt comment ... There is plenty of growing up that needs to happen with the characters now, as for Jake being caught between Klaus and Diaz? Spot on, and it reminds me of the title in progress I had for this story before I decided Collateral was better Stay tuned, my friend.
