  1. Chapter Seven – What Are We Doing? As much as he liked to imagine that by now Alexander was gripped in the throes of a well-justified panic, Lyn discovered quickly that he was himself instead, feeling annoyed by his own strange doubts. Why had they done that? Alexander had made it sound – and feel – like the sort of decision one made on the spot, just because it was fun and didn’t matter much. It had to count as an argument as good as any. Lyn chuckled and shook his head as he patted h

    It Is Enough

Ha-ha-ha, oh, yes, bingo! And that was a very creative way to say someone is talking crap, lol.

    It Is Enough

And I can only hope that the one I'll show in the story will be surprising and satisfactory at the same time!

By design is the right way of saying it. Ryder gets confirmation over confirmation that Danny is right for him. But one, he's a human, and Ryder believes his mate has to be a wolf, like him, and two, Ryder can't risk having doubts. He's pressed for time and fate is an essential word in his vocabulary. At one point before he even thought Danny might be part of the curse, meant to make him stray. Hence the whole disbelieving. I reserve myself the right to surprise you with all the roles everyone plays And Danny will have to forget that he ever introduced himself as Average Joe (hint, he'll discover he's not at all average!)

    It Is Enough

OMG, why so cute? I want to fluff him hard now. Ryder is actually the one who doesn't think Cassandra is in all her right mind, but he got pushed by duty to seek out Theodore. He might think he had it all clear as day - as much as that could be said from Cassandra's ramblings - and the fact that Theodore showed himself to be a wolf only confirmed the whole thing. After all, Ryder doesn't expect the city to be full of wolves undercover, lol. But all will become clearer, much clearer, soon...

Misinterpreted... but not necessarily by Ryder's mistake. We'll see next time how meeting Theodore will work out.

    It Is Enough

Cassandra will surely show her true colors... The pack is not meant to survive... but this Alpha is strong

    It Is Enough

Something else It will all be revealed at the right moment. I sincerely believe Ryder won't think that of Pembroke anymore once they meet again.

    It Is Enough

I offered another chapter of lovemaking to make up for what will happen next... yes, Pembroke is really out for blood.
  14. Chapter Seventeen – Nothing to Forgive What needed to happen next? What did people do in books and movies when the camera went dark and allowed those watching to fill in the gaps with their own imagination and dreams of love? Danny found himself at a loss. He had no imagination, and that was completely understandable because he had not one rational thought left in his brain, let alone more complex concepts. Like love. Love was a complex concept, or was it simple? “What are we goi
  15. Yeah, I do draw my inspiration from what's happening around in this big world, and I thought of Jamie's situation along these lines. People too often sell their soul for very little...
  16. Or some other things may happen
  17. Actually, the thing with the mask is not that bad an idea! It worked for Sia... I suppose. Even in my country, there's a whole group that only appears in videos and at concerts with painted faces. They're really popular, too. Arthur is a ruthless, heartless individual. He did try to snare Jamie, although only now was upfront about it. Jamie didn't feel tempted, which I think it does speak for his character.
  18. You're welcome, and yes, Jamie got a good dose of reality thrown at him. Now, he'll be more than well aware of the consequences of his actions. He can't change his past, but his future is a different thing.
  19. Thank you so much! Jamie has to make some choices about his life. You can't have your cake and eat it, too. He should keep the (beef)cake for the deserving...
  20. He definitely is. At least, this experience with the so-called world of showbiz will help him make better choices in the future! Just saying...
  21. Thank you! He's doing it, but it will turn out very differently from anything anyone involved imagined...
  22. Chapter Forty-Four – A Most Unremarkable Man To show to the world – but mostly to the contestants – that LiveFeed was a big, happy family, the powers that be had loaded everyone on three different buses, while the most important people behind the show were traveling in their expensive cars. Angus had offered to have Jamie as a riding partner, but Jamie had politely declined. In his experience, traveling over long distances in a sports car could lead to backaches and grouchiness; also, knowi
  23. This opinion is gaining supporters. I approve!
  24. You are right about at least three things
  25. Very true. It's only because of Lyn's 'hardened' opinion of Alexander - from the past - that makes him see things differently.
