Wen is older. Not twin-older, about two years older than Hearst. -

Jamie has a lot to offer, as a musician and as a person. Cottontail's advice was right on the money, and it fit Jamie as a glove even if he wasn't the one to come up with the respective ideas. Yep, there's no reason for me to keep it a mystery. Jamie did brush by Wen and he did sense a familiarity he couldn't explain. And Wen just found his 'dream job'... We'll see how that's going to work out. -

Since other readers thought of the same thing, I don't mind offering a clarification since it's not a spoiler. That was Angus lying, Wen is just getting started! -

I think it's safe to say that Wen would think even under the circumstances that he's doing his brother a favor... -
Chapter Thirty-Eight – It Didn’t Sound Corny At All “Hey,” Jamie said softly, feeling a twinge of awkwardness caused by nothing more than his eagerness to hear his bunny boy over the phone. “Hey,” a sleepy voice replied. “How was it?” “All your ideas were amazing.” Jamie was standing in front of the club, still basking in the pleasant glow of the day. He didn’t want it to end, not the day, nor the feeling. The only pull he felt toward ending the current situation was this – t

Vince and Jack are part of the team! They won't be always on screen - the two MCs need their time alone - but they will play a big role. -

Hmm, hmm... can't... give... spoilers... But the curse is the real deal. Ryder can't ignore it. -

He's very convinced that the survival of his pack depends on meeting the mate foretold... hence his refusal to see any other possibilities! -

I like it how the consensus of the reactions on this post are all 'fingers crossed' They will start talking, but Ryder will continue to keep his cards close, so to speak. Hence, more misunderstandings... but there will be some progress, as well. Pembroke will reappear! He is, at least currently, the villain of the story, so he's bound to make an appearance... -

Maybe not that oblivious, but, ahem, confused? -
Chapter Ten – Irresistible Danny had no idea how to bring it up. After helping Ryder inside and placing him on the bed, with plenty of difficulty that he didn’t want to admit to since it would make his guest feel guilty, he had noticed the bandages on the guy’s chest. They had to be protecting a wound, a large wound by the size of them, and the wound had to be fresh. If it had been there the night before, he would have noticed it. But the police hadn’t managed to catch Ryder and Jack, so h

Yep, my dear @Joie J. You are correct! Cottontail is John Hearst Smith!
-
Yep, that's the John I've been hinting at for a while now... But he likes going by other names and wearing many hats. Hearst and John are actually the only given names he has, the others he is just glad to earn Like I told @Jason Rimbaud above, everyone in my country has two given names, so I thought it wouldn't be too weird for John to have another name, too! Only that not many people know his full name. John is John Smith, or better said, John Hearst Smith. Jamie's family name will be disclosed later, at the right moment

They really are
-
That's one hell of a backstory... Well, I did believe that readers figured out Cottontail's real name, and I didn't mean to keep it a secret from them. I blame it all on the materials on how to write given by various professionals, one of their advice being 'not hitting the readers over the head with too many hints and considering they didn't see it the first time'. On the other hand... come on! I mean, I think this is the cultural difference I sometimes experience despite consuming so much Western media and entertainment. In my country, everyone has two names (besides the family name, of course), and I don't think I've met anyone who doesn't have a second given name. That's Ancient Rome heritage, I believe. But it's definitely less common in the US, I think, if we're not thinking of the beautiful and amazing names from Latin America, of course. (We're not on that level, I promise.)

Cottontail is honest in telling Melinda to be called John. Let's just blame it on Jamie's slightly reckless personality not to consider this version the truth. As for the evolution of feelings between the two... they still have some more road to travel!
-
And today's chapter is about Melinda's plan to help Jamie. Spoiler alert: Jamie will love it.
-
Chapter Thirty-Seven – Who Doesn’t Like a Maverick? “I can’t tell you how much I appreciate what you’re doing for me.” Those were the first words he said to Melinda the moment they met in front of the club. “Hey, who wouldn’t be interested in seeing a guy doing a musical marathon the way you plan on doing?” Melinda welcomed him with a hug. “I won’t be here the entire time because I need my beauty sleep, but you’ll be in good hands. The club owner is a close friend, as you know, and unl
