  1. Well, at least you went through all the frustration in one go, unlike other readers! (who might feel tempted to struggle me a little...)
  2. I didn't think of Hearst using ChatGPT, lol. I'm a bit slow on the uptake and at the time I wrote the chapter, I personally didn't think this AI stuff will be so... everywhere. Let's pretend all this happens before ChatGPT.
  3. And their relationship will be put to the test!
  4. Yes, you are correct. Arthur chose the place well, but Jamie is capable of holding his own - especially since he has Cottontail now, and he's no longer a free agent. A lot of dark things will be uncovered by Jamie and Hearst, individually. And Jamie will certainly have some revelations. Warning him might be too late, but there are other ways to get even
  5. Did you mean, ahem, the casting couch? Hearst will uncover the truth, bear with him (me)
  6. Hearst is getting there... he's an insistent one. Jamie better call Hearst, but we'll see
  7. Chapter Forty-Three – Chilling Realizations He looked at Arthur, who had no trouble destroying the tiny piece of art on his plate, while debating on how to start an uncomfortable conversation. Until now, he had tried to maintain affable relationships with everyone he happened to come into contact with, because life was simpler that way. However, when the circumstances demanded it, he knew he needed to step up. Arthur could very well take his time appreciating the food, which had to be exqui
  8. Wow, this is also on point. Lyn 'belongs' to Brad even if he doesn't really. Brad needs his 'puppy'.
  9. Wow, what an insightful comment. Brad is glue... but maybe not superglue, lol. I couldn't help it. Low-hanging fruit. You are quite on point about Alexander's behavior. The only correction I'd make is that he sits across but not directly, like one seat away. So if there are four seats, they would be facing diagonally (I hope my explanation makes sense). Everything else you said is valid - Alexander acts territorial, and goes in hard. Lyn thinks it's a challenge. Neither is yet capable of understanding each other, but they'll get there. And you're not far from noticing Brad as the third character in the scene. He also asserts dominance, but in his own way. He's bold, introduces himself, gets Alexander to talk within his terms. Even the gesture with the water bottle is assertion of dominance. Let's say they are two 'alphas' butting heads, but in a socially-accepted way.
  10. He is, in a way. And that's one major theme of the story.
  11. He-he... I suppose Brad does seem like that... now. We will see how your opinion of him will evolve. I plan on exposing these three guys layer by layer.
  12. There will be a memory chapter for each chapter from the present. Therefore, you will be witness to these friendships developing with the good and the bad. As for the present... well, things will make headway soon
  13. Thank you I am pretty confident that a lot of readers are going to like Alexander.
  14. You are being excused Friendships can be complicated, like all relationships, I suppose (I mean, that's why I'm trying this story)
  15. This seems to be a popular sentiment around here!
  16. They will see it... they won't believe it... they will see it some more...
  17. Thank you! And the laugh emoji was just because your opinion came to join the others on how fate finishes them both off! (in a way of speaking)
  18. And if the condom holds, we have the perfect opportunity for a commercial! (for condoms) - I'll leave you guys to think of a sexy pun to include wolves and condoms!
  19. Everyone is in an accord
  20. Ryder needs to keep his fangs in check! But what about Danny?
  21. Ha-ha, it wouldn't be that easy!
  22. It sure does! Now, all that remains is for them to realize it...
  23. Oh, it will have quite the impact...
  24. Chapter Fifteen – My Mark on Your Heart Slowly, they began to move, their bodies aligned perfectly, while Ryder did most of the work. It felt so good Danny could cry. Why had he chosen to go without sex for so long? Well, it hadn’t exactly been his decision – most likely, it was his lack of partners or ability to attract said partners – but somehow, in a weird way, he couldn’t help thinking that he’d been waiting for the right one to come along. Gosh, this was sex, not love, he reminde
  25. Chapter Four – [Memory, Freshman Year, October] – The Extra Brad was taking his sweet time. Again. Lyn sighed as he perused his materials. Brad’s response paper on business regulation was ready, but the guy who needed it wasn’t there yet. Could it be he was chasing that girl, the tall one with long blond hair, who looked like she could have anyone? During the short time they had been friends, Lyn had noticed the type of girl Brad always went for. There was an almost boring predictabili
