  2. Aha! Nice Poll. Looks like the people are voting and so far it seems no one is buying Cj's lurker-ness anymore. Krista
  3. Hey, I read three sentences and just closed it.. lol. I'm not going to be much help with anything as I've been known to have a short temper when it comes to people such as the author of that article. So I'll just leave it at that.. haha. Good luck with your own article, even if it doesn't do much or doesn't get a response taking the time to do it is a good thing. It's good to have a voice when you feel driven to have one. Krista

  10. No... Ky is in another mini-drought... The person below me is boycotting every lame small county festival because there is an anti-homosexual movement as well as a KKK as well as other terrible causes touring with them... bah.. sometimes I hate Kentucky. Krista
  11. Hey, Lol, no, it's not the end of the story. No worries, questions may be answered. Thanks for reading, Krista

  14. I wouldn't put an egg in the microwave either. I'm thinking you're meaning an unprepared or unbroken egg... I remember in the fourth grade my science teacher brought an egg for lunch and she microwaved and wanting a "boiled egg" for lunch.. lol. Long story short... the egg exploded when she hit it with her spoon to crack the shell and it burnt her in many different places... I don't use the microwave at all. Mom does some to heat up her tea if she wants warm tea.. and doesn't have the time to boil the water.. that's about it. You should never live dangerously with Microwaves though.. so take spoons and other metal or plastic objects out of them.. as it says not to microwave metal. You're probably lucky you've not blown up many more microwaves.. lol. Krista
  15. omg.. that's right.. September is almost over... BAH!.. lol. I'll need to get cracking and finish my anthology... this weekend. Krista
  16. Hey, come back here to discuss the new chapter. Chapter 9 Krista
  17. Obesity and smoking are two very different things. It only hurts the person who is over eating physically and there isn't that much a strain on the other dimensions of overall wellness to make a difference. Obesity can be reversed, but the effects of smoking cannot. Permanent organs like the heart, brain, and lungs will never heal or replace tissue with new tissue, only scar tissue which inhibits the function of the organ. So, I do think an outright smoking ban is and should be the governments decision. As it does harm innocent people easily. Both obesity and smoking are catalysts to heart disease so as far as both being harmful it's the same as they both have terrible consequences, but smoking definitely affects the environment more so than obesity. 18. Life comes first and problems and new things arise everyday. There are times people just don't feel inspired to do their hobbies for a little while. I get burnt out as an author a lot of the time and easily as well. It's like my brain and imaginative thinking can only allow for so many chapters at a time.. haha. So yes, there are times when an Author must take a complete break from writing to get tasks accomplished as well as fulfilling some other enjoyments in life. Feedback is also key to a writer's success. Not only does feedback keep "us" going, but it also helps us just like a Beta Reader and an Editor. Constructive criticism as well as the "good jobs" and other sorts of praise is our fuel. Stay patient and keep reading. Krista
  19. I voted for two, I will never smoke and I don't like being in the same room as smokers. I will tolerate it at a party or something as long as it's a large room and just the smell of smoke is in the air. I've never liked smoking, it does too much damage to the body and is the leading cause of preventable deaths in America alone. I think opinions on smoking is changing with all the anti-smoking/drug commercials out there and with a ban on advertising on smoking. Anyway, second-hand smoke, being around someone who smokes two packs a day means that the people around them smoke a pack a day, just from the second hand smoke they're taking in and that isn't filtered. So, I'm against smoking completely. There is nothing healthy about smoking. Krista
  20. I agree, not having a religion doesn't mean that's automatically anti-religion. I just don't like seeing Religion being a large part of politics. Krista
  21. I voted for Capricans. But, Caprican Herd or however, would be a good compromise if a compromise is the only way to go. Krista
  22. Lol..
  23. I will not be able to come. With all the classes I'm taking and other agreements I made I won't be able to make time. Krista
  24. Happy Birthday Miso!!! Have a good one, Krista
  25. Color. Even if it's losing in the votes it doesn't make it less "correct." And, if you have Firefox Spell checker, you will see that COLOUR is underlined in red (which is a color). Krista
