Ok I liked this chapter a lot! You know I have a soft spot for Charlie and this chapter revealed a lot about him. His pillow is not only a comfort thing, but also a convenient tool for hiding stolen cookies. So he's actually a lot smarter than it seemed. And it's so nice to see that Tyson cares about him, even though he only approached him because Vlady wasn't there to keep him company. Maybe after this they'll have more regular 'tutoring' sessions. Edith's absence seems ominous, she must be on to something.

Poor Leon, losing his parents, being forced to give up Logan and burdened with all kinds of royal duties. I wonder why the Queen doesn't do anything about Prince Isaak since she already has witnesses about him killing his first wife? Also, what did Petr mean when he told Logan he'd have to join their club? Are the five of Leon's friends hiding something? P. S. Somehow, I didn't get a notification for this chapter.

Sadly, Petr has a point and Logan knows it. I wonder if Leon's family even knows he is gay. Regardless, they probably expect him to marry a woman and continue the royal line. Still, it was a beautiful ending to the chapter!

Sweet, so they finally decided to take the plunge! However, we know this is only the start, as real troubles await then when they return - especially if Leon's parents somehow learn of the boys' change of route. And I love your style of writing in this story, very smooth.

Haha yeah, Tom is definitely inexperienced when it comes to relationships so he doesn't have a good sense of how things should progress. He is also afraid of disappointing Charlie in bed even tho he won't admit it. Thank you for the comment!

It was a pleasant, warm summer afternoon that found me sitting in the living room, almost dozing off. I was killing time by watching House Hunters International and munching on apples. Awww this was a sweet chapter!! ❤️ Who knew Vlad's dad would be so good and know exactly what to say? Vlad is indeed lucky to have such a supportive family, despite all of their problems. And it seems Brianna is good at her job too. By asking Tyson about how he wished for his life to continue after being discharged, she made him realize he doesn't actually want his mom dead. He just wants her to be a better mom and to love him. There definitely could be light at the end of the tunnel and Tyson is slowly realizing it.

I agree, that's the only thing that sort of soured the story for me a bit in the end. Will's romance with Felip seemed so sudden and left me stumped. Still, the ending turned out better than I though since I feared they would find Oskar dead, so I was relieved to see him alive and well.

Lovely ending to a brilliant story! One of the best I've read on this site, and I'm so glad to have been along for the journey! (In my mind, I'll pretend Oskar and Will rekindle their romance later on, as I find them to be obviously made for each other.) Even though I haven't read Anthony Hope's novels set in Ruritania, I do like the whole Ruritanian romance genre and might have to check them out. Thanks again for the story and I'll be following to see what you publish next!

I am happy to see Helge and Fritz living a better life now, they both seem like good people who deserve it. But I'm worried about Oskar. He blames himself for everything and since he hadn't hear from Will all this time, he must think Will hadn't forgiven him (and an even bigger matter is if Oskar will be able to forgive himself). Brilliant storytelling, as always!

Well, what do you know, I wish for another Rothenian-based chapter and I get it. I have to say, I did not expect the Felip twist at all. He seems like a sweet guy, I just hope Will isn't with him because he reminds him of Oskar. Now I have no idea what to expect anymore, so I'll just be (im)patiently waiting for the next chapter.
