I love how their relationship is developing. As for Jenn, it sucks but she's gonna have to get over it. I don't imagine it'll go down well tho, she's rather impulsive and short-tempered.

Ellis is certainly a piece of work! At least he's got that gorgeous familiar! The Odesh kingdom might be the most beautiful yet (purple castle, purple unicorns... ), but we still haven't seen Ulisse yet! Also, Queen Erika seems strangely unworried about her sons and is so sure they will accept Ellis is their king. I guess we'll see about that.

Poor Joy, everyone around her has failed her, first Geoff, now Douglass. Even the lightbulbs have betrayed her! In all seriousness, I love how Geoff blurted out details of his sex life to Helen (must be nice for him to finally have a sex life to talk about!), and she is clearly a good friend! Maybe she can try and talk some sense into the lemon-sucking mother, but since even Gloria didn't make an impact, I doubt Helen will. As always, I'm looking forward to the next chapter

Exactly, while Rulf still isn't ready to forgive Esthor, his conscience wouldn't allow him to just abandon him in his time of need. And yeah, Rulf needs to sort things out (and probably have a few words with Fendrel too). Yup, the dagger conundrum could be easily resolved if Esthor knew what we know. All I can say is, stay tuned. 😛 And thanks for the comments, I always appreciate them

All alone in Rulf’s kitchen, Esthor was sitting on a chair and moping, thinking how he would cry his eyes out if only he had them. One of the best things about this story is guessing what everyone's familiar is going to be! even if they're not mythical creatures, as a big animal lover I love seeing the interactions between animals and their 'owners', if you can call them that. Also, Lorcan = ❤️

Maaaan, you always manage to make this story better and better! I loved it, even tho I cried at the scene with Zander Panda and Diego seeing Lance's room. When you look at Diego in this chapter and at the start of the story, you can see how much he's grown and matured. That's excellent character development! But not armpits. 😛 I still feel bad for Ollie, and even a tiny bit for Sean. Poor guy is going to get shunned by everyone, but he had it coming. I want to believe you have a plan for Gloria and we'll see her again.

Ok things are already heating up, I love it! So poor Ronan got the short end of the stick, while Orion and Soren are enjoying life. I wonder if Kaden was really sent by the council or did he come of his own will? Kai seems to have troublesome kids (like father like kids, I guess). 😛 "and the two of them rode their Familiars into the throne room across the jade carpet." Such an important scene, and all I'm thinking is how they're lucky their familiar is not a mosquito.
