Great job Tim! I'm so happy you didn't kick me to the curb the few times I had to be brutally honest. You've come a long way since your first story and it shows. (Don't forget to mark the story 'completed' so readers can leave a review)
Loved the nod to Keiran and Natalie. It's the kind of tie-in I enjoy throwing into my stories.
Hey... we can do G-rated! As long as it has enough humor to make up for the lack of bow-chicka-wow-wow. Right @astone2292?
🤣🤣🤣
Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) I've been busy and have had to choose between writing and reading. Writing won. Although a certain character another author-who-shall-not-be-named is obsessed with is being rather stubborn and holding out on me.
As for DST? I'd rather have one or the other. I'm off kilter all week following both changes. The older I get, the worse it gets.
Don't worry if you ever think you've lost a chapter. I keep a copy until after the story has been completed. Just ask! (although you may have to suffer through all my suggestions a second time..lol)
Another great chapter. I, too, knew David was not the "one". He seemed a little too worldly. I have my doubts about Carl. With their age gap, and Bruce's still-developing maturity level, it's iffy. But, one never knows.
@Geron Kees, there is no handling the Krew. They're going to misbehave no matter what. Sipping whiskey (or your favorite adult beverage) while corralling their off-the-wall comments is recommended.
@raven1 back to the Korner.... you seem to need a time out.
Thanks, molly, she died in August and we had to reschedule her service because of hurricane Ian. By the time the VA cemetery re-opened it was too close to the holidays to try to coordinate everyone's schedules. My aunt suggested her birthday and it worked out.
Been OK here in Florida. Just busy. Today would've been my mom's 92nd birthday. We had her commital service at the VA cemetery this afternoon. Her ashes were placed in the vault with my dad's. That's what she wanted at the end. So today was a little rough. My son flew in from Kansas on Saturday and I have to get up at 430 to bring him to the airport. Bittersweet.
Hope everyone else is doing okay too.
I'm not going to lie, the road for these two is long and bumpy. There is a happy ending, but I can guarantee it's not what you would ever suspect. It'll be worth toughing it out through the difficult chapters.
It was so much fun visiting these guys again. They'll be making an appearance in the not too distant future. Ian's friend Jase has been rather vocal lately. I think his story is next after I finish with the shifter series.
