As mentioned in Corrupting the Innocent, when Lucifer was at the zoo, the predators instinctively deferred to the apex supernatural. Non-shifting animals can sense supernaturals. I'm not going into details of the sex lives between the humans and the hybrids. Use your imaginations. As of right now, speech is not possible for the twins, but should that change, the ability to communicate silently will be a plus for all the shifters in a showdown. I can guarantee it'll be a few months before I'm anywhere near ready to post the next story. This one was written in four months, which to me is insane. The next one won't be as long, but has so many more moving parts to keep track of. I'll do my best though!

All around good chapter. Will has a much better handle on sorting things out in his head rather than just reacting. It seems to be influencing Travis too. Happy to see Kevin doing so much better!

She'll play a role in the next story. My brain still needs to develop her character some more. Right now she's sort of quiet. I'm sure she'll speak up. She strikes me as one of those "quiet but don't mess with her" types.

Luckily we don't have a gator in our lake anymore. Most of the snakes are black racers. It's the damn "palmetto bugs" that I hate. They're not bugs. They're goddamn giant freaking roaches. Ew.
