We all know the answer to that.... (Love you @weinerdog!)

@Danilo Syrtis is my loveable geek. You are now my tech geek.

The Krew often runs amok.

I'll let it slide..... ..... for now.

They were good old days... we could still move without creaking and cracking.

Every time I talk to my best friend we are gobsmacked by how we got to be the same age as our mothers.

Those over 50 with great physiques are the true unicorns of the world. So you don't look like you work out but feel like it? You fantastic beast you... kudos!
-
Hitting 50 was akin to being given a roulette wheel of potential random injuries... Sneezing.. will it be a pulled back muscle or peeing just a little? Coughing.. was that a rib cracking or did part of my lung dislodge.. oh wait.. it was a busted eye vessel. Laughing... yeah, that one is definitely peeing a little Waking up... could be a multitude of issues or any combination thereof. Going up stairs.. hmm.. hip or knee? Going down stairs.. hmm.. knee or hip? Running... 🤣😅😆 like that's ever gonna happen again. Carrying a 30 pound, dead weight ankle-biter... recipe for disaster! Lol.

@astone2292 is some kinda special... that's for sure.

Good... because I think a tim ghost would let loose and haunt the hell out of us. I can see it now... doors shutting on their own accompanied by uncontrolled giggling.

I don't own shorts or sleeveless shirts for the same reason. Body dysmorphia affects people of all shapes and sizes. I've run the gamut of healthy vs unhealthy food choices all my life. I've been the person walking down the aisle of a plane and seen the looks that people give me. I can hear their thoughts "Oh God, please don't let her sit next to me." I've pushed that grocery cart too. When faced with making a choice between healthy food which is more expensive, or diapers/formula for your baby... well, the baby wins every time. So yeah, judgemental idiots do need to shut up. I'm sure they're not perfect and have their own issues. What is that all the religious leaders preach but rarely follow... judge not lest ye be judged?

Kitt... I've been struggling with my weight since I was 9 years old. I totally get the "concerned" comments that people give unsolicited. I'm perfectly aware that I'm fat and don't need reminders. It's bothered me my whole life and it's not just a matter of eating right and exercising. I've done that and it worked for a while.... until it didn't. Genetics are huge part and research now shows that there are hormonal/chemical imbalances that are at play. I'm back to doing Noom.. it's what worked best for me before. If I hit a wall again I know it won't be for lack of trying. I've been considering surgery and used to think it was a cop out until recently. If I hit a wall again, then I will most likely go that route. So to hell with those who comment on something they know nothing about. That goes for those who are underweight, can't stop smoking, or any of a host of other issues. We're doing the best we can.

So I got to work early so I could shower and grabbed my stuff to head to the bathroom and.... Shampoo.. ✔️ conditioner ✔️ body and face wash ✔️ ✔️ washcloth ✔️ towels... ummm.. shit! Thankfully my housekeeper was in the office and she went and got a couple for me. Shower felt amazing. Got dressed, grabbed my stuff and went to dry my hair and slap on some makeup. Makeup ✔️ moisturizer ✔️ Hair dryer ✔️ hair spray ✔️ brush... ummm.. shit! It's a finger-comb job and I'm rather rough around the edges today but I'm clean and determined to focus on the positive this week. I feel fortunate that the only thing really hurting today is the ankle... probably time to go get it looked at. Have a good week everyone!

Make sure you read Storyverse before moving on to the next installment

It's been fine up until last night. Murphy's Law... it always hits at the worst time. No rest today... there's too much stuff that still needs to get done.

No Easter chocolate for this girl. Instead I get to deal with a toilet not flushing properly and leaking from the bottom and a shower that's not draining as it should either. Of course my hubs discovered this at 130 in the morning.... and we left the plungers at the old house. Guess who volunteered to go get them? I got back home at 3am and plunging didn't do much. I texted our landlord and am waiting for her to get back to me. I'm not sure I can do much unpacking today. I'm a tad bit tired, still in pain and sliding down the path of righteous crankiness. I hope everyone has a good day.

@Mrsgnomie still hasn't come around to acceptance.

It will take a while. Grief is a process.

What do you call a rich bunny? Happy Easter!

Your kids are never too old for Easter baskets. I still send my older son and his wife a box of stuff for Easter (although this year's will be late because of us moving). They'll be 26 this year. Once you establish a tradition, it becomes something they cherish.
-
One year my younger son got into a bunch of Easter chocolate that my sister-in-law left out in her living room while no one was looking... about a half hour later he got sick.. it didn't phase him, he still likes chocolate but he doesn't gorge on it anymore.
-
Well... 99% of our stuff is moved. Just a few odds and ends left to get tomorrow when we go back and clean. Every part of my body aches. I'm getting too old for this crap. Now it's going to be living in chaos until we get everything organized. Although once the kitchen is done then most of the mess will be taken care of.

Tension.... ahhh... sure...
