I love that Farley was a comic. He really does remind me of the Sheepdog in For Better or For Worse. He had to leave his old pack. Nick had an invisible pull that he couldn't resist. I'm glad it worked out for them. Thanks for reading!

Me and knives have a tenuous relationship. I've never cut myself badly but with arthritis getting more cranky with each birthday, I'm not taking any chances. I love my chopper and it gets used often. Glad you enjoyed the onions!

I agree.. 5-6 quarts usually gets the job done. I can fit 5 or six boneless chicken thighs in mine.... which I really really need to go dig out of the cellar. MIL has a combo toaster oven/ convection oven and I'm not a fan. Its too big and clunky for her tiny kitchen.... unless you live here peeps.... don't buy appliances you think will "help". And if you haven't invested in one of these, I suggest you do, post haste. (You know who you are)

The manager I interviewed with called me to let me know she was checking my references. I texted them and warn...uh..threa...ummm... asked them to be nice.

So, I think I mentioned that a previous job offer got recinded the day before I was scheduled to start. I really didn't think it would take so long to find something. Well, I've had two interviews for an assistant manager position for an apartment complex. As long as the background check clears, I've got the job. Thank goodness I know how to hide those bodies lol. To celebrate, I'm making apple cinnamon bread with cranberries and walnuts.

Thanks travlbug! As for the reason, I thought about it and decided it works better if all y'all use your imaginations. It could be anything .... a genetic mutation, a virus, a deliberate attempt by mad scientists, or a multitude of other reasons. Now you're gonna think about it, right?
