My job. *shakes head sadly* I take my safety seriously. The city I work in has a fairly high crime rate. The area where my community is located is close, but not part of some neighborhoods known for a lot of different illegal activities. Occasionally we have some rather suspicious people within the park. There is one rule, and one rule only that I adhere to and that is: If you see something suspicious call 911. End of discussion. Our community liaison with the Sheriff's department has said it 1000 times. I just got chewed out by a resident pissed at me because I won't go confront a homeless person squatting in their backyard. Now, logically I'm sure the person is harmless, but, you NEVER know! When I asked the resident if they confronted the person, I got hung up on. In what world is this okay? You won't go confront someone but you expect me to? Not knowing if they're carrying a gun or other weapon? Not knowing if they're strung out or hallucinating? WTF people? Sorry, had to vent.

Oof.... Joy. One of those annoying morning people you want to throw off the nearest cliff. At least she redeemed herself with her support. Kyle has some work to do in the educational and suck up departments. Jarrod has some work to do to get over his jealousy and semi-caveman attitude. I think they'll both get there eventually. It's nice to see Connor doing something small to make himself happy. Too many young kids focus all their energy and attention on their first significant other that they don't realize they're still developing their own sense of self worth. P.S. Banff is up in the top 5 of my bucket list.

It sounds like ot would not only benefit readers, but authors too. Getting their work(s) out to more readers.

I've been on a roll with a new story I'm writing. Honestly, I've never been this excited to write. I'm really enjoying it and can't wait to see what these characters do. It was a long week, I was tempted to do bodily harm to the ex-HOA president today, but refrained. Massive positive! Next....π

Only a few more hours to trudge through before this work week is done. Two. Days. Off. I can't wait. No big plans other than cleaning my house the way it needs to be cleaned, not just a lick and a promise..lol. I hope everyone is doing well. @chris191070, hang in there. Waiting sucks, but it's necessary. I have my follow up next week to go over my labs and x-ray results. Time to pay the piper. Enjoy your weekend everyone!

I certainly has been rough for Reilly, but heβs pretty tough.

So glad to see you again! Welcome back!

It always cracks me up when businesses advertise "over 100 years of experience!" When I worked in travel, at one point there were 5 of us and combined we had nearly 150 years experience in the field...made all of us feel so freaking old! I was the 'youngest' with 22 years. My coworker was 4 years younger than me, but she'd been in the business for 28 years. Go figure...

I'm right there with you molly! This coming Saturday will be the first Saturday I'll take off since the 1st of this year, if this week would just get out of the way! It's drrraaaaaaaagggggiiinnnnggggg! Hope everyone has a good day. π

I'm happy you enjoyed the story! A big part of my decision to delve into the shifter/supernatural world was because it's possible to do whatever the hell I wanted to. It's fun creating my own little twist on things!

You're welcome! I'm really glad you enjoyed this story. I'm already excited about the next installment. The characters are proving to be quite fun.

I blame Schoolhouse Rock's adjective song: πΌπ΅He was a hairy bear. He was a scary bear.πΆ Influenced an entire generation!π€£

Gah! They are so young! It's refreshing. The situations and circumstances that strike fear into their hearts, so serious at their age. Highlights how much influence peers have at that stage of life.

So... on my way to the gym this morning, I get to the rotary (roundabout, traffic circle.. whatever) and I'm within the circle, meaning I have the right of way. Some old entitled white-haired geezer decides to cut me off, forcing me to practically stand on my brakes. I was going to let it go, but saw that he had a Florida Gator plate. Oh Hell NO! I leaned on the horn, smiled as I saw him jump. Go Noles! Have a good Sunday everyone!

Nope, no more mistakes like that. I couldn't give up, my readers would've lynched me... lol!

Where was thus article before I had to rewrite at least 5 chapters of the story I just finished posting? Those nuns didn't drill this lesson into my head well enough. π€
