Our hurricane season started yesterday and it's off to a quick start. Nice little tropical depression brewing out in the Gulf. It won't amount to anything other than a wet weekend, but it will crank up the humidity. Hello Florida summer! I'm debating whether to pick up my usual "just in case" cases of water, or wait until after we move. Speaking of putting things off @Mikiesboy, I really need to get serious about packing and bringing stuff up to the new house. I keep squirreling when I'm home. I'll pack a carload tonight... I promise!

Loren better fu@#ing get things right this time. He needed this wake up call. He can't continue to run from the commitment boat. He needs to climb aboard or let Jay sail off into the sunset without him. Considering we all know how BN ended, (yes I went there) we know he at least gets on the board. Whether or not he jumps ship later on remains to be seen. No, I haven't seen the final version of the last chapter yet.

I'm back home, Kansas was pretty cool. Where we were was all rolling hills. We did a day trip to Badlands State Park. Amazing scenery. Loved seeing my son and his fiancée. Now I'm back to missing them and counting down the days until they come at Christmas. We didn't get home until midnight. I'll be pretty useless at work today. I hope everyone has a good day!

Brad and Jake still have a ways to go, especially if their relationship is as important as Brad thinks it is. Their relationship is supposed to be mature and instead of dealing with it that way, they both reverted to dramatic, selfish teenagers. Now that they've had their intervention by Will and the gang they can evaluate where they are and where they want and need to be from and adult perspective like they should have in the first place.

Spoken words are so powerful. They have the power to hurt, to heal, to tear down and to build up. This chapter had it all. Loren is rebuilding his relationship with Lars. Jay is establishing boundaries with his parents. The end though.... Jay's realization that their relationship has been lopsided in the compromise department is heartbreaking. There is no electronic trail of me ever making any such statements. Unlike proof of several panic attack moments by Mrsgnomie when realizing she screwed up and major damage control is needed. Does anyone really think I'd screw with Spudman's future that way? Pfftt.
