Thankfully, most cops are decent, hard-working people who take their job seriously. But, there are more than a fair share who not only stretch the truth- they twist it, pull it, smash it and squish it. Government around the world is rife with corruption. @lawfulneutralmage has done a fantastic job of making us question who's who in the spin cycle of bad guy vs good guy. I still think Jamie needs to come clean with Mike. Nothing good ever comes from hiding important things from those we profess to love (**slowly backs away whistling a mindless tune because only one person in her real life knows she has a secret alter-ego**) 😆

Nothing else will drive your readers over the edge. You know what they say... Go big or go home. 😈

I really love my supernatural series, but you're right.. it was extremely time consuming. Started the first story in 2019 and let it sit for two years. Then it was another 2.5 years of finishing the first story and writing two sequels. I've had to put my new story on hold fora bit while real life interrupts me with a gazillion things to do this month. The supernatural genre will get put on the back burner for a while... there's too much other stuff taking up space in my head right now. Lol

I know you know that I've said multiple times that I'm proud of you... but I'm saying it again... I'm so effing proud of you! Yes, you are fortunate to be able to ditch the hassles of people-ing for a paycheck but you don't need to feel guilty. Many others are able to do the same thing. All of you are doing what is right for you. Michael gets to provide for your needs and take care if you, Dan gets to make sure you are taking care of yourself and that you occasionally get donuts, and you, my friend, are finding a new person inside of you... someone who is happy. Seize whatever opportunities that come your way to enjoy life to the fullest. And never forget your donut soul mate🍩❤️🍩 xoxo

Another thought... I don't think Jamie will be able to keep his abilities from Mike. For one-Wanker is shady AF and I would take everything he said with a grain of salt. Sure, Jamie needs to figure out the extent of what his abilities are, but he needs someone he can trust to help him gauge what he can do so he doesn't hurt himself or others. Wanker is an idiot.

It's been an interesting first two weeks at my new job. I get that online training modules are the way to go for most companies nowadays, but there's something to be said for hands on, in classroom training. It's one thing to read how to do something and pass the knowledge test and another to actually practice it and being shown how to navigate all the different software systems. Eh.. it'll come eventually. Still waiting to hear about a condo we're interested in. Keep your fingers crossed. It'll cut hubby's commute down to about 10-15 minutes and mine will be about the same but I won't have to battle the idiots crossing the Manatee River everyday. Snowbird season winds down at the end of March... woohoo! Goodbye weekend... until next time. Have a good week everyone!

This was a great building chapter. It's not often that you see characters so upfront with each other so early in their relationship. You can't build anything unless there's a solid foundation and these two have laid it down (yes... double entendre..lol)

You are in such an amazing place right now and I'm so proud of you. Sometimes it's hard not to focus on the negative, especially when it brings you into a headspace that's not a good place to be.
